Prós: A Trilha Sonora é Religião: As músicas não são apenas um fundo musical, elas reagem ao que você está fazendo. Quando o refrão de "Rules of Nature" ou "It Has To Be This Way" dropa exatamente no momento em que você dá um contra-ataque perfeito... o nível de adrenalina no seu sangue vai a patamares perigosos. É impossível jogar isso sem querer quebrar a mesa de tanta empolgação. O Blade Mode: A mecânica de desacelerar o tempo e escolher exatamente o ângulo milimétrico de onde você quer cortar o inimigo (ou um helicóptero, ou um tanque) é satisfatória demais. Os Chefes mais Épicos de Todos os Tempos: Desde um cachorro-robô filósofo até um Senador bombado no suco que joga futebol americano com o seu corpo e grita sobre nanomáquinas. Cada diálogo desse jogo é uma fábrica de memes atemporais. Contras: O jogo acaba. E quando acaba, você percebe que nenhum outro jogo de hack 'n' slash vai conseguir atingir esse nível de pura testosterona e genialidade novamente. MGR:R is genuinely the epitome of what a "traditional" video game can and should be. The political commentary, general atmosphere, characters, writing, plot, narrative, gameplay mechanics, level design, music, and the QoL features added to this PC version mean that there are very few games that could even hope to hold a candle to something like this. The codec alone likely has more dialogue (good/interesting conversations too) than a lot of other games period, and it's fully voice acted on top of that. The VR missions, the character customization, the free DLC missions where you can play as Sam and Blade Wolf. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ peak. "... and besides... this isn't my sword." The cheesiness, stupidity, and yet sheer aura of this one line when said in context - this is the heart of MGR. Play it if you like "traditional" video games made with real artistry. 9.5/10
