FF6 is mentioned as the best FF game in the series. While I personally don't have FF6 in my top 3, this game has a fantastic world and characters. All 3 SNES games are amazing games in the series. IMO it goes FF5, FF4, & FF6 in that order. Just because I have it at the bottom does not mean its not a fantastic game, just shows how great the SNES FF games are. P.S. Screw the master gambler achievement.
I played it and beat it when I was a kid. It's great, if you love well-written by grindy JRPGs from this time period. Shortly after the FANTASTIC mid-point, I found myself getting bored with the grind though. I couldn't bring myself to beat it, and just recapped myself on the narrative beats to come- which sadly isn't nearly as interesting as the first half. Great villains, nice turns, some fun side missions and segments, but man, I felt like half the time I was just roaming the world map collecting EXP, just to get past the unfair and status-heavy bosses. I would LOVE to see a remake of this game after 7 is done- because there is SO MUCH MORE you can do to expand on this world and all the underdeveloped characters. Overall, it's worth the dive- but I skipped out on the ending this time. I'm an old man, damnit!
Conflict, Love and the struggle to persevere. one of the greatest, simply a narrative masterpiece, well explained and fleshed out characters. being able to once again go through this game in a more thorough way was such a fun time again and its easy to see why this particular FF is rated and hailed the way it is.
I thought this game would distract me from the horrors but it is in fact explicitly about the horrors. Wonderfully deep but not overly complex combat systems, one of the best video game stories I've ever seen, it wasn't a fun little comforting RPG like I expected but it might be one of the best games ever made.
Best one in the series so far.

KEFKA APELATIVO DO KCT
Excelente Remaster. Fora isso a história é absurdamente boa e os personagens são muito bem escritos e carismáticos.
