Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Sep 2 → 0.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

its a decent overall game but it Just Lacks some things from what i know there entierly against listening to the people who play the game who have genuine feedback like in how the ocean campain pack people hated the tempature system asked for a way to disable it and the developers refused to make a setting to disable it and people have been asking to have a way to raise the minion cap to something larger then 300 but rebelion also refused to do that and are entierly against modding too so anything that someone could mod in to make the game more enjoyable like a higher minion cap or custom made base locations or anything else thats not directly added by rebelion pretty much impossible the only people who are left that still play this are pretty much newcomers because after about 100 hours you start to notice problems and because of those problems the game just feels repetitive as you notice more things i feel like if this game had actual competent leadership and devlopers it could be a great game but i just dont think anything will change anytime soon

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 18: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

What a huge disappointment this game was. The trap system from the first game was way better.
naw naw naw man its a good followup. The only thing I need to say for people who played EG1 before this is that it IS way less kick you in the nutsack levels of hardcore. Good. The other note is that I genuinly think this started as a mobile game before pivoting. It just has that feel to it where you are building a base and waiting out a timer as your minions do missions. I dont have a probem with this, infact I like the dopamine! But well... if it filters you, sorry.
First of all, go watch some videos about the original Evil Genius because it's an absolute legend of a game. This one is way more accessible, controls are way better, all the sorts of upgrades you would expect after a long time. The game itself is pretty funny. Unless you have hardware conflicts or memory issues, it should basically never crash. I still haven't gotten anywhere near exhausted on content over 100 hours in. The only gripes I have with this game is that I can't get a DLC for Dr. Evil's Moon Base and (the SECRET) Volcano Lair. I honestly find myself really really wishing that I had those.
It had potential, but its genuinely a horrible game. Clunky at best, lots of glitches i came across pretty quick that broke saves. Poorly designed. If they would have at least made it simple for mods, they could have been salvaged by the community. Little details shows lack of compassion for their own game, such as how they handle modes. Campaign, everything is locked, understandable. Sandbox, forced infinite money so you cant enjor normal gameplay and grow rich. "Sandbox" without control over anything, even just those simple mechanics letting players control a few important aspects of gamplay in settings could have made it a worthy game, but instead its just shallow to me. Though some may find it fun, i cant reccomend it.
