I was gonna refund the game until i found a rat in a toilet. He became my little buddy Only play if your high, or crazy, or high and crazy
This game is like if you took entirely way too much of the local gas station hippie's mushroom cough medicine and then started up a JRPG when peaking. The level design is reminiscent of early CGI, I have no idea where I'm going but I always seem to be progressing, none of the NPC's are making any sense, the combat system seems like only a suggestion and consists of throwing various organs at ayahuasca derived enemies with a whack-a-mole machine. Takes about an hour to beat, but I'm going to have to play this one again because the whole time I just felt like I was experiencing without understanding a thing and I loved every moment.

Have you ever wondered what would happen if you put Yume Nikki, Hylics, LSD Dream Emulator, Cruelty Squad, and Off together, combined it with a horrifying Benadryl trip (Minus the phantom cigarettes and hat man) together and threw them into a Biological Chronicle? Yeah, that's this game. It's super absurd, weird, and completely idiotic. The humor is very meme-heavy and nonsensical, and I found myself thoroughly enjoying the pure insanity on display. Truly a unique game. I like the part where the stick man yelled "GYAAAAAAATT". Yes, that actually happened. This game caused my divorce. The only issue is that the swimming controls suck. Also, it's kinda short for the price, but the pure weirdness made me love it too much to pass it up.
The game never started no matter what I did, It just kept freezing as it started up :(
Entogious is a game in the ever emerging Hylics-Like genre, part of the burgeoning market of abstract and esoteric games into the mainstream. However here's what you're in for if you haven't played the other games : The gameplay is 2 segments, an overworld where you walk around 3d sculptures and talk with wacky characters that shout memes at you, and (unique to this game) a real-time battle system, you have your abilities, they all have timers, your enemy's abilities all have timers. While it boasts being unfair to the audience, what they do and how to use them is fairly well communicated to you thru in-game dialogue and the visuals. There really shouldn't be anyone complaining they didn't know what Magnet does when you activate it and it brings up a metal wall in front of you. The story of Entogious, or Entogioussy for short, is simple, its a Rat Race, you and everyone around you are killing eachother for wealth and power. Its easy to understand, and the biggest weakness is how abruptly it all comes to an end, a full playthrough WILL take you an hour and change. In summary, I liked it, if you like the 4 or 5 other games that are also abstract takes on the JRPG genre just like this one, you'll like this one too. If what you read doesn't sound like your cup of tea, then maybe not, maybe spend your 12.99 Canadian Dollars on a sandwich or cryptocurrency.
To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Entogious. The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical player's head. There's also Crabdo's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Entogious truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Hangobo's existential catchphrase "I Shall'nt The Richest," which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as michael's genius wit unfolds itself on their monitors screens. What fools.. how I pity them. 😂 And yes, by the way, i DO have a Entogious tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- and even then they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand. Nothin personnel kid 😎
game just crashes on startup
