Incredibly endearing game. The combat system is on point, I love how you have to juggle feints and healing items in fights, it’s easily the most engaging combat system I’ve played in a long time. The writing is witty and very fun. The game balances comedy and seriousness really well and every character is very likeable and memorable! The art style is also incredible, I love how they used printing techniques as a style. It stands out visually a lot. The soundtrack is great but a little repetitive. I’m really fond of each song but there is a lack of variation at times and some songs loop funny. Still a great soundtrack and one I did not expect! This game has been a standout for me this year and I am very excited for the DLC whenever it comes out. Would highly recommend :))))
Good game for a couple of evenings. Writing is good, the visual style is nice (both characters and locations), there are interesting personalities. Combat and locations quickly get repetitive but the game is short enough for you not to get bored. I'd give it 7/10. For those who look into it because of all these comparisons with Disco Elysium (as I did), honestly, these are huge overstatements. Don't expect it to be close to DE in any way so as not to feel underwhelmed with otherwise a great game with its own identity.
I finally made the leap from Switch to Steam, because I wanted more indie options, and this was the first game I played. And it was a delight. Not perfect by any means, but certainly an experience. This game is absolutely smothered in character and charm. Everything about it was just different and cool. The art style was fun. The music was ultra-cool and did much to contribute to the various settings. The text, although often cryptic and sometimes long-winded, helped set the tone, part of which was a surprisingly vibrant sense of humor. There were many genuinely funny moments throughout an otherwise serious adventure. I didn't have any issues with the controls, nor did I have any glitches. It all just worked. If I had any personal negatives to share, I'd say its cryptic nature could be a challenge, especially when trying to remember a variety of quests. Also, the game is very short. I did it in six hours, so a more experienced player would likely do it in three or four. Honestly, it's like a really cool short story. But I'd also consider Felvidek a work of art, rather than a grand, long-form RPG, so these are minor quibbles. Anyone looking for a perfect little artful indie adventure, this is a sure thing.
Totally changed how I thought RPG Maker games usually look.
With no leveling system, every battle demanded flexible weapon switching and tactical skill use, each encounter resembling a climactic final fight. Random events lurked behind every step, delivering sudden ‘Surprise Mother F*cker’ twists. The entire journey was nothing short of thrilling and astonishing...
honestly very interesting story that has absurd humor and a bit of horror, i genuinely couldnt stop playing it until i completed the game, i loved this game more than pavol loved his wife
Great game for anyone who enjoys medieval fiction. The soundtrack is an added gem to the game, along with the storytelling. I really enjoyed the battles and the "whodunit" vibe. The ending was a little underwhelming, but the humour makes up for most of it.
Fear and Hunger if it was good. 10/10 would get mauled by a demon in the forest again

Glad I got around to this one. The setting and the art's the best part. Combat is a standard JRPG affair, nothing special. Writing's pretty solid. Best written thing ever? No. 7.5/10 :)
