just beat it this morning, I loved the art and dialogue soo much that i feel like i should make a game similar to this.

Wonderfully silly the whole way through! Especially good for a game that's about one Castration Movie long

A turn-based game where you can eat hotdogs and sling dynamite. Truly the game of all time.

I've always loved surrealist-style oddball games and this one absolutely scratches that itch. The artstyle is the biggest show-stopper, it creates such a distinct environment that I really haven't seen replicated elsewhere (probably because making IRL clay models, animating them with stop motion, and then processing each of those images to become pixel art is a long process). The game definitely leans more towards contemporary art moreso than a game, hence the "Hylics is a recreational program with light RPG elements." in the description. If you want the intensity of the avant-garde cranked up to a 10/10 then this is one of the games best fit for it.

Hylics para mi es mucho más que un simple juego RPG, es sin duda una obra de arte Con solo confesar que al inicio estaba completamente perdido, no sabia que hacer, no sabia a donde tenia que ir, no entendia lo que me decian los NPCs y moria a cada rato Pero saben, aun asi disfrute cada segundo que pasaba. Los graficos, la musica, los diseños, el mundo, todo grita un surrealismo tan cautivante, tan unico y tan precioso que simplemente no pude dejar de jugar, se siente como si estuvieras recorriendo un sueño extraño del que no quieres despertar Derrepente sin darme cuenta ya habia vencido al jefe final, la verdad es que sigo sin entender muy bien todo lo que ocurrio, o que significaban muchas cosas o incluso cual era el verdadero sentido de este mundo pero yo creo que nada de eso importa, porque te hace sentir y divagar en tus pensamientos sobre todo lo que pasaste junto a Wayne y los demas; eso es lo bello de Hylics Es uno de esos juegos que terminas y en lugar de quedarte con respuestas, te quedas con sensaciones No es un juego para cualquiera pero si conectas con el, sera una experiencia que no olvidaras
