About
ENDLESS Space™ 2 is a Strategic Space Opera set in a mysterious universe.
Your story unfolds in a galaxy that was first colonized by God-like beings known as the “ENDLESS”, who rose and fell eons ago. All that remains of them are mystical ruins, powerful artifacts, and a strange, near-magical substance known as Dust.
ENDLESS Space™ 2 takes the classic “one more turn” formula to new heights. You will explore mysterious star systems, discover the secrets of ancient races, build colonies on distant planets, exploit trade routes, develop advanced technologies of unthinkable power; and, of course encounter new life forms to understand, to court or to conquer.
As a leader, you have to manage your populations like never before as they react dynamically to your decisions and to their environment, expressing their will through political parties, dictating the laws that your Senate can pass. Will you be a beloved natural leader or will you manipulate your populations to your benefit?
Watch your fighters fly past huge cruisers while lasers rip their hulls apart in epic real-time space battles. Detailed after action reports will help you adapt your strategy for the next confrontations.
Design your ships, assemble your fleets and carefully adapt your battle plans to overcome your enemies. Once you think you’ve done it all, take it online against seven other players.
Immerse yourself in the ENDLESS Universe™. The galaxy belongs to the civilization that controls Dust and uncovers its secrets… but were the ENDLESS alone in the galaxy? What is the true origin of Dust?
Lead one of eight civilizations, each with a unique playstyle affinity and story quest, and build great stellar empires capable of imposing your vision on the Galaxy!
Find out more about the Academy and its powerful cast of Heroes, that you can recruit and train to become fleet admirals, system governors or influential senators.
Press ‘Space’ anytime to activate the Amplified Reality view and reveal in-depth contextual information about your systems, trade routes, diplomatic stances and even your ship stats during battle!

Reviews
this is just a worse version of Endless Space 1 with a new coat of paint, diplomacy is a waste of time and frankly exhausting, multiple features are very unbalanced or absolutely redundant
From its years as a neglected Endless younger child that showed such promise but was stunted by bugs, dull AI, and dissatisfying gameplay balance, Endless Space 2 has begun to flourish into the true heir to this franchise that it ought to have been all along. All it took was a little spit 'n polish from the returning attention of devs years after its final DLC was released, and *Endless* love from some awesome modders now immortalized in a proper patch. Better late than never, I say! This game ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rocks. <3 I'm starting to believe that in years to come it'll be able to stand shoulder to shoulder with the upcoming Endless Legend 2, and I can return to it when I'm nostalgic for the starscape-spanning sci fi iteration of this utterly delightful fantasy universe. Amplitude Studios are kings of the turn-based strategy genre. As of autumn 2025, this game is not to be missed, and neither are their other offerings!
Just get Stellaris

The game has all the building blocks of a great 4X strategy experience. The core mechanics are engaging, there are interesting strategic decisions to make, and the overall design shows plenty of promise. Throughout my time with it, I could see the potential for a deep and rewarding strategy game. Unfortunately, the difficulty balance held the experience back significantly. Even as a relatively inexperienced player with only a handful of playthroughs, I was able to defeat the highest difficulty setting without much trouble. The main reason seemed to be the AI, which often felt passive and failed to provide meaningful opposition. As a result, many strategic decisions lacked tension because there was little risk of being punished for mistakes. While the foundation is solid and the game offers enjoyable mechanics, a stronger and more aggressive AI would greatly improve the challenge and overall experience. As it stands, the game is enjoyable but falls short of reaching its full potential due to the lack of competent opposition.
A very much underrated game in the sci-fi strategy genre. The devs went out of their way and fixed all the troubles that plagued the game, truly a rare and honourable move.
It's good
it's amazing but the universe ends up feeling smaller than it should
Endless Space 2 is a deep and visually stunning 4X strategy game that blends empire management, rich lore, and meaningful decision-making into a compelling galactic experience. It stands out by giving each faction a unique identity, making every playthrough feel distinct and engaging. 🔹 Gameplay: The game follows the classic explore, expand, exploit, and exterminate formula, but elevates it with layered mechanics and faction-specific playstyles. From managing resources and diplomacy to commanding fleets, every system feels interconnected. Strategic choices matter, and adapting to different situations is key to success. 🔹 World & Atmosphere: The galaxy feels alive, filled with diverse star systems, anomalies, and evolving political landscapes. Each faction brings its own culture, mechanics, and perspective, adding depth to the universe and encouraging experimentation. 🔹 Storytelling: Narrative elements are woven into faction quests and events, giving context to your expansion without overwhelming the gameplay. The writing adds flavor and immersion, allowing you to feel like you’re shaping your own space-faring civilization. 🔹 Presentation: Endless Space 2 excels in presentation, with sleek UI design, detailed ship models, and a beautiful art style. The soundtrack complements the vastness of space, enhancing the overall immersive experience. ✅ Verdict: Endless Space 2 is a standout 4X strategy game that combines depth, style, and replayability. It rewards thoughtful planning and offers a rich experience for both newcomers and genre veterans. Score: 9/10 – A polished and immersive strategy game that makes conquering the galaxy feel truly epic.
