Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.57/day in the week to Aug 20 → 3.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
ENDLESS Space™ 2 is a Strategic Space Opera set in a mysterious universe.
Your story unfolds in a galaxy that was first colonized by God-like beings known as the “ENDLESS”, who rose and fell eons ago. All that remains of them are mystical ruins, powerful artifacts, and a strange, near-magical substance known as Dust.
ENDLESS Space™ 2 takes the classic “one more turn” formula to new heights. You will explore mysterious star systems, discover the secrets of ancient races, build colonies on distant planets, exploit trade routes, develop advanced technologies of unthinkable power; and, of course encounter new life forms to understand, to court or to conquer.
As a leader, you have to manage your populations like never before as they react dynamically to your decisions and to their environment, expressing their will through political parties, dictating the laws that your Senate can pass. Will you be a beloved natural leader or will you manipulate your populations to your benefit?
Watch your fighters fly past huge cruisers while lasers rip their hulls apart in epic real-time space battles. Detailed after action reports will help you adapt your strategy for the next confrontations.
Design your ships, assemble your fleets and carefully adapt your battle plans to overcome your enemies. Once you think you’ve done it all, take it online against seven other players.
Immerse yourself in the ENDLESS Universe™. The galaxy belongs to the civilization that controls Dust and uncovers its secrets… but were the ENDLESS alone in the galaxy? What is the true origin of Dust?
Lead one of eight civilizations, each with a unique playstyle affinity and story quest, and build great stellar empires capable of imposing your vision on the Galaxy!
Find out more about the Academy and its powerful cast of Heroes, that you can recruit and train to become fleet admirals, system governors or influential senators.
Press ‘Space’ anytime to activate the Amplified Reality view and reveal in-depth contextual information about your systems, trade routes, diplomatic stances and even your ship stats during battle!

I enjoy a good 4x game, I've played my fair share of Civ 2 and 5, and got WAY into Galactic Civs, etc... And Endless Space 2 is absolutely one of the great ones. The twists that make it really "click" for me are: 1) Every faction plays a little different, giving you something new to master for each one. 2) Diplomacy is a resource. And you can use it in ways that can actually leverage your opponents and force them into things! 3) Unlike most space 4X games, you can't just go anywhere you want. You actually have to manage your starlane access. 4) There are actual quests, which have branching paths to follow, with many of them granting seriously game-changing buffs! Between that, and combat being simple but satisfying, and you have the recipe for one of THE good ones. :D

Fantastic 4X game - perhaps the best since Master of Orion. Deep gameplay, asymmetrical factions, and beautiful graphics and UI. The small roleplaying aspects with heroes and faction quests add an interesting layer of decision making while providing a small amount of narrative throughout an otherwise sandbox game. The recent community patch is a wonderful addition. The love the community and Amplitude has for the game through continual updates this far out is much appreciated.
I am not good at 4X games, but I love them. This one in particular is a favorite. Each faction actually has a quest line that can usually branch in 2 or more ways, giving a narrative hook as well as the mechanical reason to play each one. I love that. This interface should be the standard for these types of games. After playing this, right click to back out of the current menu is just so natural that every other game feels clunky without it. Most of the factions play pretty differently. Some are more similar than others, but there is tons of variety.
A Gorgeous, Asymmetrical 4X Masterpiece (With a Few Black Holes) If you are a fan of 4X strategy games like Civilization or Stellaris, Endless Space 2 offers an incredibly stylish and atmospheric alternative. Amplitude Studios managed to create a sci-fi universe that feels remarkably alive, though it isn't without its technical and mechanical quirks. To give an unbiased look at what works and what holds it back: THE GOOD: - Wildly Unique Factions: This is where the game truly shines. You aren't just playing the same empire with a simple 10% bonus to research. Every faction plays fundamentally differently. The Vodyani are religious space-vampires who live on massive arks, while the Unfallen are giant space-trees that expand their empire by growing literal vines between star systems. - The Best UI in Strategy Gaming: Endless Space 2 is downright beautiful. The user interface is sleek, artistic, and incredibly functional. It presents a massive amount of complex data in a way that is easy to read and satisfying to interact with. - Deep Internal Politics: Unlike many 4X games where your population is just a static happiness meter, here, your empire's internal politics are chaotic and alive. Your citizens will form political parties, protest, and vote for laws based on the events happening in your galaxy. - Stunning Presentation: The cinematic battles are a joy to watch, and the ambient, soaring soundtrack is easily one of the best in the genre. THE BAD: - Hands-Off Combat: If you want deep, tactical fleet command, you will be disappointed. Combat consists of assigning a basic tactic and then watching a cinematic simulation play out. It looks great, but your actual strategic input is very shallow. - End-Game Bugs & Jank: The game suffers from some notorious late-game performance issues. You might run into the dreaded "pending turn" bug where the AI gets stuck calculating, bringing your campaign to a halt. - DLC Bloat: While the base game is fantastic, some of the later DLCs add convoluted systems (like hacking) that feel more like annoying chores than fun mechanics. THE VERDICT: Endless Space 2 is an absolute must-play for 4X fans who value atmosphere, narrative, and incredibly distinct faction mechanics. It is heavily focused on economy, politics, and exploration rather than deep military tactics. As long as you don't mind a hands-off combat system and the occasional late-game bug, you can easily sink hundreds of hours into painting this gorgeous galaxy in your colors. I highly recommend it.
I have tried playing this game about 4 times over the years. Each time quitting due to frustration and intentionally drawn out sequences. Nothing is really explained well in game and AI mechanics are kind of trash. "Helpful" popups are annoying and a bad UI choice appearing in different locations around the screen and blocking large areas of the screen at times that are critical to see what happened in the turn to be able to react properly. I like the visual style and concept but it has been poorly implemented being at times confusing and with out right rage bait AI actions that you can never replicate yourself, I couldn't recommend this game. Maybe I'm just trash but imo games should be easy to pickup and play, otherwise what is the point?
No, not overly. You spend way to much time in a mod only to have it crash and be unplayable. Sure its on me for using the mods, but Shift select crashes everthing, Nah Nah thats not acceptable, Stellaris is sinking you on all fronts guys, Edit: Its only gotten worst after a year, Buy it on discount but be prepared to be bored after a while
Can't go wrong with 4x even though bugs still exist years later and it's now run by virtue-signalling soulless corpos. Mods are required but the movers and shakers of those communities are also not worth the time. Shame.
