Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.

Bought it at release and wasn't too thrilled. Tried it 8 years later again together with 5x, UCP and tactical mods. Boy, what a difference! Modders made the game work as intended and more. Devs could have made a ton of money with dlcs, if they had fixed their initial mess themselves. Well, probably the publisher's fault. With those mods this game is a jewel. Just make sure you follow the installation instructions. It isn't hard by any means, just know that clicking on "subscribe" ain't enough.
Listen, this game, it's fun. I enjoy it, I genuinely do love this game. BUT, BIG BUT, this game got messed up a few years ago, it doesn't work without a modded patch. Will the game ever get fixed? 10 years after release, and 6 years since the last update? Not a chance. It's not that you can't play this game, but you can't just start playing, and there's no hope of an official patch ever coming. Just be aware of that before you buy this game as of 2026. Not recommended just so that people actually see this.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 11: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

When the workshop has a mod to fix the bugs (220+) in the game, that alone should tell you something.
This game captures some of the fun of the original. Unfortunately, it brings along some of the bugs of the original. I got a 'Please Wait' message after moving a fleet that just went into an infinite loop. There's no going past it, it happens every time so, in effect, my game save is corrupted. This happened on turn 972!!!!! From reading the forums I can see others have had this issue as early as turn 100. I can't begin to tell you how much it sucks after almost a thousand turns. You might be fortunate enough to avoid the issue, but you've been warned. It's like reading a good book only to find the last chapter missing! The devs are either unable or unwilling to fix it. If they haven't fixed it by now, I doubt they will.
Impossible to play. Ever since early access there is a game breaking bug causing a freeze at the end of turn. After clicking end turn the next will never come, it's just constant ''processing''. It can happen 40 turns in or might 400, you never know when but it will surely happen. Small map, big map, tiny - doesn't matter. I bought this game out of love for MOO2 while game was still in the early access stage. Release was made in 2016 if I'm right. It's 2024 and they still did not fix the issue. Avoid like a plague. These devs should go make some mobile games or even better consider changing their career and work in a grocery store or something. Apparently coding is not their thing. It's this bad.
It's really fun for the few minutes until it brakes. I've started 4 games, the longest got 150 turns before getting stuck on an AI's turn, forever. It just never gets past it, game stuck there. You get really into it and it dies. None of the "Fixes" i've found online work. Waste of money.
As of now the game is non working. It is missing DLL files, it will not load a game sometimes, menu icons are missing, and it is slow. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game multiple times as well as turn off all mods that made the game playable. I don't know what is the issue with it but I would not recommend this game as of right now. Even on a sale.
it's a classic game that I used to play in the late 90s and now at 45 it took me back to those days
Напевно одна з найкращих глобальних стратегій для початківців.
Master of Orion... game speaks for itself. Only issue is the game really slows down after about 300 - 350 turns, and becomes progressively slower as you go on. Developers programming issue. Course they will never fix it.
