Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Latest in each market: best JP #37, worst KR #80 · 2 markets collected
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Klasyk w wersji nowoczesnej.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 2: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.5/day in the week to Aug 5 → 3.57/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Game was very fun! Lucky Panel sucks though. I never played any version of Dragon Quest VII but this one was very enjoyable. I was honestly surprised by how "bittersweet" some of the stories were when going through the towns. Not all of them came with happy endings, some came with bad endings, & others were inbetween. At first, I thought it was because I made a wrong choice somewhere or forgot to pickup an item. However, that was NOT the case it was just how that segment was written & it really impressed despite the depressing tone. Gameplay was also great. It did not take too long to level up everyone or grind out their jobs thanks to the ability to make combat move faster. The combat was also just very enjoyable to play with too. There also wasn't many moments where I felt the need to grind unless it for a specific superboss. My ONLY nitpick/negative is that Lucky Panel sucks ASS. If you're going for the achievements you HAVE to get all the items in the Lucky Panel minigame too. And that took longer than I had hoped even when screenshotting & recording the movements. The difficulty was NOT about finding the matching pairs but being lucky enough to have the right items pop up in the chests or landing on the correct 4 star item. Biggest waste of my time but still a fun game.

Uyy que weno este que wenooo
Great game! Maybe the best the combat has been. You can tweak the difficulty so that grinding is pretty much unnecessary and have the monsters hit harder. I could easily get wiped out in three turns by any group of end game monsters at like the mid to high 40 levels. Final boss was a challenge. Only won because I survived his mana dump thanks to a particular piece of equipment that let my druid/dancer survive that blast. Luckily I saved the ygdrassil leaves until then. Because of the balance they struck here, this is peak. The moonlighting system is great. There are so many combinations and synergies that you can have fun experimenting, and building up your team. Some of the other games wipe out your buffs and that kills the depth of the combat where you should be juggling buffs and debuffs. Overall I think this was a wonderful project. I never would have played the original or the DS remake because its so long. I also cannot stand unavoidable random battles (even though DQ is one of my all time favorite series). Music is incredible as always. The graphics are charming. My only complaint is they could have added a bit more story to the main characters at the end. I didn't want to be a fisherman lmfao. Where is Aishe? Is ruff homeless? Please get Maribel away from me. What they did with Kiefer was cool.
