What a game! Much darker atmosphere than the last Doom games, (it is the DARK Ages, after all) and can't wait for the DLC!
💔I liked DOOM (2016), but DOOM Eternal was a disappointment for various reasons; now I’m playing DOOM: The Dark Ages—and it’s exactly what I was hoping for from the game💔

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 4: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 58.43/day in the week to Jul 30 → 59.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I've been a fan of DOOM for my whole life, ever since playing the original back in '98 or so when I was around 5. And with good reason, as this franchise is pretty iconic to the FPS genre. Anyway, a few years back I finally managed to play DOOM '16, and when this game got announced, with its pretty steep requirements, I knew I had to upgrade my PC for it. And so I did, and blasted through Eternal just in time for Dark Ages' release. Now, I'll try to avoid the comparisons to the previous games from the modern trilogy, but I'll say that Dark Ages is easily my favourite of the three. While some might argue that the gameplay feels more tanky, I personally felt it pretty reminiscent of that of the original DOOM. Sure, you don't go around dashing all over the place, but the sheer number of enemies on every map, the scale of them... It feels like playing an even bigger version of the original DOOM. Of course, the game did come with its gameplay changes, most importantly, the shield and its parrying mechanics. I personally found it a great addition, and I don't think it rewards a slow approach; if anything, it makes you really wanna jump into the fray and get up close and personal with the demons. My favourite tactic when fighting Cyberdemons, for example, is getting right up to them and parry their attacks as I blast them with my shotgun. Speaking of Cyberdemons, and the demons in general, I love the designs in this game, and that leads me into my next paragraph, where I'll talk about the artistic direction. It is SUPERB. While DOOM has always had a sort of sci-fi element to it, I loved that in this game they went more into the dark fantasy aspect of the whole thing, and it makes sense, you're fighting demons. The architecture of Argent D'Nur in its prime is impressive, and the Cosmic Realm, which is introduced in this game, is amazing. That's one of the strongest points for this game in my opinion; the addition of a whole new dimension of creatures to fight. While the cosmic enemies are basically adaptations of traditional DOOM enemies, like Cacodemons or Barons of Hell, it did provide some great visual variety. There's also several new demons as well, so it's not like they take a backseat. In terms of weapons, you get the usual DOOM variety, although with a few twists to fit the setting: the rifle, for example, is actually a sort of nailgun in this game. You still get the shotgun, rocket launcher, plasma weapon, and a couple of new weapons; there's no BFG here, but don't worry, as the game certainly makes up for it with its own superweapon. The graphics are superb, and they justify the requirements. While forced raytracing might be annoying for those lacking a supported GPU (and I was in that group until last year), it certainly makes the game look beautiful. And performance is excellent, with very fast load times, and no frame drops or anything. The soundtrack is also very good; sure, it's no Mick Gordon, but I think Finishing Move did a good job. Oh, I was forgetting to mention a few more things about gameplay, and that is that beyond traditional DOOM gameplay, there's also a few mech and dragon sections. Some people didn't quite like them, but I personally found them to be a great change of pace. I think I haven't talked about the story either, and while some might say it's not that important in DOOM games, I think it was pretty good, giving a bit more insight into the Doom Slayer's time helping Argent D'Nur. Prince Ahzrak is a good villain, and someone you'll definitely want to kill (alongside some very cool bosses spread throughout the game). All in all, I'd say this is a great game, and one I can easily recommend.
So glad I finally picked this up, it was such a blast. Love the fantasy combination with the dark sci-fi stuff of DOOM, and it quickly became my favorite out of the modern trilogy personally. They did a great job with this one, even if there are some meh parts of the campaign in the base game, but they more than made up for it with the DLC because wow, revelations was probably one of the most enjoyable experiences I've had in an FPS campaign. Some real heavy hitters in the soundtrack as well which got added to the workout playlist. Ultimately turned out to be an awesome title and one that is most certainly worth experiencing if you even remotely liked the previous two games. I wasn't a huge fan of Eternal with all the weapon swapping just out of personal preference, but maybe this is my sign to go give that another chance after this game. Easily one of the most satisfying and fluid combat systems I've felt in an fps hands down.
Fantastic game, and my favorite of the new DOOM series. I am frustrated to see so much of Id Software laid off by Microsoft, considering it is one of the few of their studios which still puts out games. Amazing games, in fact.
What a brilliant game, haven't had such continous fun in a long time, a good challenge and ran really well! Looking forward to the next one.
손맛이쫀득하고 악마를 죽일때마다 몹시 흥분이됩니다 그야말로
"디지털 비아그라"
라고 칭함에 부족함이없는 작품입니다.
Definitely my favorite of the modern doom trilogy. I feel like it melds the best aspects of 2016 and Eternal into one experience. The shield combat is fantastic and I hope it makes a return in whatever game we get next. Only complaint is that I feel there are too many weapons. they're all fun to use, some more than others. I tend to catch myself only cycling between 3-4 weapons when I assume the game wants you to use all of them? That being said the 3-4 guns I do tend to favor are amazing, I tend to use the Super shotty, the Cycler and the rocket launcher mainly. Overall a great game, very much looking forward to the DLC in July!
DOOM The Dark Ages is a pretty solid game the story was decent enough and so is the gameplay the only thing i miss are the actuall glorykills and not just punching demons in the face even doe there are a couple of animations for it the story dlc was also great we got to see doomguy in his past again with his iconic shotgun absolute peak
