About

Your legacy awaits. Choose your noble house and lead your dynasty to greatness in a Middle Ages epic that spans generations. War is but one of many tools to establish your reign, as real strategy requires expert diplomatic skill, mastery of your realm, and true cunning. Crusader Kings III continues the popular series made by Paradox Development Studio, featuring the widely acclaimed marriage of immersive grand strategy and deep, dramatic medieval roleplaying.

Take command of your house and expand your dynasty through a meticulously researched Middle Ages. Begin in 867, 1066 or 1178 and claim lands, titles, and vassals to secure a realm worthy of your royal blood. Your death is only a footnote as your lineage continues with new playable heirs, either planned… or not.
Discover a sprawling simulated world teeming with peasants and knights, courtiers, spies, knaves and jesters, and secret love affairs. An extensive cast of historical characters can be romanced, betrayed, executed, or subtly influenced.
Explore a vast medieval map stretching from the snowswept Nordic lands to the Horn of Africa, and the British Isles in the west to the exotic riches of Burma in the east. Claim, conquer, and rule thousands of unique counties, duchies, kingdoms, and empires.

Each character is larger than life, with traits and lifestyle choices determining their actions and schemes. Prompt fear and dread as you rule with an iron fist, or inspire your subjects with magnanimous deeds. Genetics can be passed along to your children, be it the gift of genius or crippling stupidity.
Groom your heir with the appropriate guardians or educate them yourself. If found wanting, marry them off or despatch them through other means.
Customize your ruler and noble house, from appearance to attributes, and create a monarch worthy of all their inherited virtues and vices.

Govern an ever-evolving realm and grant titles to whom you see fit - or usurp your liege to claim their crown as your own. Be wary of rivals, from restless serfs to revengeful concubines.
The shadows stir frequently, and danger lurks around every darkened corner. Recruit agents and other unsavory elements to undermine, blackmail, or murder those who stand in your path. Or be inspired by the bard and ballad, and seduce your way to power and influence.
Blood will flow. Assemble men-at-arms units and powerful knights. Manage your battlefield tactics and armies. Raid and plunder nearby lands or hire mercenaries and Holy Orders for your major conflicts.

Be a pious king to invite the religious powers to your side, or design your own faith as you battle between everlasting fame or eternal damnation.
Bring novel innovations to your culture and construct mighty castles and bastions to increase the wealth, prestige, and security of your realm.
The paths to follow are limitless: experience thousands of dynamic events and life-altering decisions tailored to each and every conceivable situation and character. There are countless ways of securing and keeping your place in the history books.

I hadn't played this game in a few months only to find that now every time it changes screen I get a pop-up telling me I should sign up for a 'Social' account. There is no option to disable it.
I'm sure some like this game, but I don't. And here's why. The game is incredibly dense. Which on the surface, isn't terrible. Historical accuracy is amazing. The level of detail that has gone into the game is nothing short of incredible. But, with that density comes an incredible amount of micro management. Miss one little detail and you get absolutely destroyed. Forgot to protect your realm against plagues? Your whole line of succession dies. Forgot to make good friends with a vassal? they revolt against you. Expand at all? Peasant uprising. Don't expand? discontent heirs and they come back to claim your crown. Third playthrough attempt ended the exact way the two before it did: Spent hours building a launching pad for my kingdom. When my first ruler becomes old and infirm, a plague hits that wipes out at least 90% of my dynasty. By the time the plague passed, my dynasty was so hated I had at least 2 wars claimed against me, a peasant uprising, and no heirs. Kingdom falls apart, left with maybe one or two holdings. I thought maybe turning on automatic military control would help me focus more on my own kingdom, but that lead to me being pulled into a war by an ally which I couldn't withdraw from. In the wake of that, one of my vassals revolted. TLDR; this game throws too much at you to be able to manage, and punishes you when you can't manage it. Just not a fun experience. Maybe if you are super good at strategy games, this game might be fun. But for someone like me, who was just looking for a historically accurate feudalism game, it's just too much.
A very fun and unique strategy game, this is my first dive into the "grand strategy" genre of Paradox games. And I must say I am impressed! At first, this game felt super overwhelming with all the UI pop-ups, but once I learned the basics, oh man, it was fun! Compared to games like Civilization, this one is waaay less competitive; the focus here is much more on the role-playing aspect of the medieval ages and its simulation, which is fun! And less stressful. I had so much fun customizing my dynasty family and going for my RP goals that I set for myself in-game that I never noticed how many hours I spent on this game in 2 weeks. There are so many events and unique interactions that I am over 50 hours in and still keep seeing new events happen that affect the world. Getting fame, founding an empire, engaging with religion, even though it's all a numbers game, it still feels engaging and fun. My least favorite part of the game is how slow and clunky the combat feels sometimes, especially when you are getting attacked from multiple fronts. Also, trying to chase an enemy army that is always just slightly one tile away from you feels a bit silly sometimes lol. Another downside is the DLC; there are quite a lot, and most of them don't seem worth it. You can find mods for free on the workshop that add way more than some of the DLCs do. Overall, I can highly recommend it if you are a fan of more casual strategy games/simulators. I have not tried multiplayer yet, but I can see how it could be a lot of fun as well.
Problemas de perfomace no meu PC
I remember reading that every paradox game is just a framework for DLCs. The concept for each title is awesome... but the cool features are locked behind various DLCs. This practice is kinda scummy ngl. Thank God for the amazing modders.
