Call of Duty®: Black Ops III

Great game, absolutely unsafe to play online because hackers run these streets and by these streets i mean any COD title older than mw 2019. They seriously arent safe to play on PC because they have the ability to inject code on your pc just by you connecting the THE GAMES SERVERS REQUIRED TO SIGN IN AT THE MENU. basically if you launch this game on pc its a matter of time until something terrible happens to your computer and activision refuses to fix it, but they sure will sell you the game. DO NOT BUY OR LAUNCH THIS GAME!

Oh boy, what is there to say about BO3, it probably the first sign of the end for me for COD, younger me used the excuse of Ghost & AW's bad to okay stories as them being due not being sequels to the good CODs, but then "Train go boom" and here we are on BO7 somehow... ...Anyway while the campaign was terrible, the multiplayer was actually kinda fun (for me at least), the movement and Character Ultimates was a refreshing change of pace from basic area combat loop that ever previous cod of duty was doing (at least before almost every single multiplayer game also decided it was doing ultimates), and the exo movement didn't feel as stiff as AW, but of course, it's a Post-Dev COD game so you better use a third party service if you don't want to get screwed trying to play any online stuff. Alright, but who gives a damn about all that, everyone is there for the same thing, the Zombies! It's Peak, this game has some of the best maps in the whole zombies franchise and what it doesn't have with the base game and Zombies Chronicles, the steam workshop will mostly likely have it, along with sh*tpost maps, rage maps, highly detailed gems, and maps that can even compete with the standard maps. If you played any COD zombies in the past and liked it a little, you will love this game, even despite the Cod Point slop. It's a solid 9 out of 10, but if the zombies wasn't counted... it's a 3.7/10, so yeah... buy it on a good sale (like at least 50%) and kill some Zombies!

I love zombies in this game, but I cannot recommend it due to its rampant security issues that will never be addressed by Activision. This isn't a "haha get banned" issue, this is a "people can install and run stuff on your rig and you have no idea + grab your IP address" issue. Activison is selling an unsafe product to customers for full price without a disclaimer stating that the game is unsafe to play online. This makes a part of the package, Multiplayer, completely unplayable. If you bought this game for the multiplayer, then you got sold a product that is not safe to play. If you are an average joe who wants to relive the old CoD games on PC and naturally does not know about T7patch, you are in danger of having malware installed on your computer, or worse, having your personal information stolen by bad actors. If you want to play this game, download T7patch and run it before you boot Black Ops 3 every single time. This should not be a requirement.

Black Ops 1, Black Ops 2, Black Ops 3 (Steam Versions) I want to start by saying this clearly: I love Black Ops 1, Black Ops 2, and Black Ops 3. These are some of my favourite games ever made, and that’s exactly why this review hurts to write. Despite how iconic these titles are, the Steam versions are not safe to play online in 2026. All three rely on peer‑to‑peer networking, and their security systems are outdated to the point where players are exposed to serious risks — including Remote Code Execution (RCE) vulnerabilities. RCE isn’t just “cheating” or “modding.” It’s a critical security flaw that can allow attackers to run arbitrary code on your PC simply by being in the same lobby. Some server‑side fixes were deployed years ago, but they were incomplete, inconsistent, or never applied across all titles. As a result: Public lobbies remain unsafe Malicious hosts can manipulate your client Your IP is exposed by design RCE vectors still exist in certain versions Cheaters can inject scripts directly into matches These games deserve better. Fans deserve better. It’s heart-breaking that three of the most beloved Call of Duty titles ever made have been left in a state where playing online is a genuine security risk. Until proper, full security patches are released, I can’t recommend playing BO1, BO2, or BO3 online. Offline only — and even that feels like a sad compromise for games that were built around multiplayer.

[h1] Great game; broken on PC. [/h1] I played a tonne of BO3 back in the day when I was a kid and I loved it. The Zombies mode is genuinely great and is arguably the best in the franchise. So when I saw the game on sale for PC I just had to buy it. Though I've had plenty of fun (especially with custom zombies maps and mods) it pains me to say this but you shouldn't buy BO3, especially if it isn't on sale (the game is 11 years old and still going at full price because Activision is run by Jews). Firstly, the game is straight up NOT SAFE TO PLAY. You can literally get hacked just by playing the game online. I played one game with randoms and my Steam account got hijacked (I got it back so everything is fine now). the developers have done nothing to fix this issue yet they'll gladly sell you the game for full price. In Zombies, you can also get RANDOMLY KICKED FROM A SOLO GAME if your internet connection is briefly interrupted which sucks because I want to level-up and use Mega Gobblegums. Another problem that I and a few others have faced are audio issues. Sometimes in Zombies (usually when first booting up the game) the audio for guns and characters are mute. I've tried changing the in-game settings and those on my PC to no avail. The only fix is to restart a match by killing myself with a grenade or by closing and re-opening the game, though this doesn't always work. It really sucks because I do love this game.

Black Ops III may be my favorite Call of Duty game personally, while the best overall are still BO1, BO2, and MW (2019). This game actually makes the future setting very appealing set in the 2060's. The multiplayer is as addicting as any of the games with a welcome addition of the specialists. I also had a blast playing Zombies in this as well.

I'm reviewing this for the campaign alone as I think if they're selling me a product I should be able to judge it for the things I expect to get out of it. Gameplay aside, which was the generic call of duty gameplay, fairly enjoyable, the story in this game is probably the most incomprehensible piece of crap I have ever sat through, it's not even enjoyable to a comedic degree. The acting is a mix of people trying to be philosophical, cornballs trying to act tough and actors fresh out of acting school given the worst script they've ever read in their lives. There are certain points in the game where the main character is interacting with Hendricks either for an explosion or a big moment and they have this need to get a quip out to sound tough and it's so corny to the point where I got genuinely mad. I could go on and on about how if you pay attention nothing is happening around you in more than half of the setpieces of this campaign, the pacing is awful and the minibosses are just a slog to get through. There is no amount of co-op or difficulty modifiers that can convince me this is a good campaign.
