We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 22.14/day in the week to Aug 12 → 25.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I must say I should have played Assassin's Creed Valhalla years ago. I listened to many reviewers who gave this game a big thumbs down, and now I feel that was a mistake. After finally playing it myself, I realized how different my experience was from what I had heard. The story is not overly complex, but it is emotional and engaging. The relationships you build and the choices you make give the journey a personal touch. I found myself caring about many of the characters and wanting to see how their stories would end. The game is packed with side activities. Some of them are incredibly addictive, while others did not click with me at all. Hunting legendary animals and solving mysteries across the world were easily my favorite activities. Every time I saw a mystery marker on the map, I wanted to know what was waiting there. On the other hand, I never really enjoyed Orlog, the Animus anomaly puzzles, or some of the repetitive raiding. Flyting challenges were fun occasionally, but not something I looked forward to. What kept me invested the most were the story arcs. They connect Eivor's journey from Norway to England and then to places like Ireland, Francia, Vinland, and beyond. Each region feels like its own chapter, with new characters, conflicts, and stories to experience. I also want to give special praise to the Asgard storyline. The way Valhalla adapts Norse mythology is beautiful. Exploring Asgard felt magical and completely different from the rest of the game. Seeing legendary figures, mythical events, and ancient prophecies brought to life was one of the highlights of my playthrough. The visuals, atmosphere, and sense of mystery made those sections unforgettable for me. Speaking of visuals, this game is simply gorgeous. Even years after release, it remains one of the most beautiful open-world games I have ever played. There were countless moments when I stopped what I was doing just to admire the scenery. Whether it was the snowy landscapes of Norway, the countryside of England, or the mythical beauty of Asgard, the world constantly amazed me. Combat is also enjoyable. The variety of weapons and fighting styles allows you to experiment and create your own approach. It feels satisfying, and I appreciated the new combinations and abilities that the game introduced. Overall, Assassin's Creed Valhalla is, in my opinion, one of the most beautiful open-world games ever made. It has an emotional story, memorable characters, addictive exploration, and a world that is a joy to get lost in. I know many people criticize this game, and that's fine, but after playing it myself, I simply don't agree with them. Sometimes the best thing you can do is ignore the noise, play the game, and form your own opinion. That's exactly what I did with Valhalla, and I'm glad I finally gave it a chance.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 1: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla was a game I had pretty mixed feelings about, but overall I’m glad I played it. It definitely has its problems, but there’s a lot here that I genuinely enjoyed. The biggest thing I liked was the world itself. England looks absolutely beautiful, and exploring it was one of my favorite parts of the game. Riding through the countryside, discovering new locations, finding random events and just wandering around made the world feel really alive. The Viking setting also works really well, and the whole atmosphere of settlements, raids and exploration is something I really enjoyed. The combat is another thing that I had a lot of fun with. It feels brutal and satisfying, especially when you start unlocking more abilities and different weapons. Dual wielding is probably one of my favorite additions, and there’s something incredibly satisfying about just running into a group of enemies and causing absolute chaos. The settlement system was also a nice touch. Building up Ravensthorpe and watching it slowly turn into an actual settlement gave me a reason to keep exploring and collecting resources. It made the world feel more connected to the progression instead of just being a huge map full of random activities. The story, however, is where I have more mixed feelings. There are some genuinely great characters and storylines, and I really enjoyed Eivor as a protagonist. But the overall pacing is inconsistent, and the game sometimes feels like it’s taking forever to get somewhere. There are definitely parts where the amount of content starts working against the game rather than helping it. And yeah, the biggest problem is probably the sheer amount of content. Valhalla is HUGE. At first that feels amazing, but after dozens of hours you can start feeling the repetition. There were definitely moments when I thought, “How is this game still going?” Some activities are fun, but others feel like they were added just to make the map bigger. Even with all of that, I can’t say I disliked my time with Valhalla. There’s something very satisfying about simply getting lost in its world, improving your character, upgrading your settlement and slowly building up your own Viking story. It’s definitely not my favorite Assassin’s Creed game, and I think it could have been much better if it was shorter and more focused, but I still had a good time with it. The world, atmosphere, combat and Viking setting carried the experience for me.
I’d give Assassin’s Creed Valhalla around 8/10. A flawed and unnecessarily huge game, but one that I still enjoyed spending a lot of time with.
Honestly, it pains me to end it like this, but I just can't take it anymore, and continuing would only delay the inevitable verdict for this game. What's worse is that it started off incredibly strong. The first seven hours were fantastic. The introduction, the opening chapters, the introduction to the gameplay, the Assassins, and Basim were all genuinely engaging. I also really enjoyed the mythological sections with Odin, especially the trips to Asgard and the roguelike-style mode where you play as a younger Odin. Those parts were surprisingly fun. The problem is that Assassin's Creed Valhalla has a long list of issues that completely drag down the experience. The world is even bigger than those of the previous games, but in my opinion, exploration becomes tedious, slow, and overly drawn out. The earlier games had a much better sense of momentum and flow during travel. And removing the automatic mount travel feature feels like a terrible decision. It turns what should be simple traversal into unnecessary busywork. Since we're talking about a Ubisoft title, poor optimization is once again part of the package. The game suffers from occasional stutters, texture-loading issues, and overall performance problems. Visually, it looks quite good, the environments are beautiful, and the world itself holds up very well, but technically it's not nearly as polished as it should be. Another major issue is the gameplay, which I found to be one of the most boring in the series. I understand the focus on brutality, dismemberment, and all the elements that come with the Viking fantasy, and to be fair, Ubisoft captured that atmosphere very well. But the missions become incredibly repetitive. Objectives are recycled over and over again, merely wrapped in different contexts, and after about seven hours I completely lost interest in the world, the protagonist, the supporting cast, and everything the game was trying to offer, Not to mention that it's extremely slow; it has an unnecessarily slow pace. I genuinely tried to push further. I wanted to find something that would pull me back in and make me enjoy the experience again. But with all the issues I've mentioned, it simply never happened.
I highly recommend this game to anyone who enjoys a little masochism. If you actually bought the game instead of pirating it, you get the unforgettable experience of using the Ubisoft Launcher in a single-player game. You have to remember yet another password, and you need a stable internet connection so Ubisoft can collect player metrics and potentially use that data for AI-related purposes. The licensed version also comes with the mandatory gift of Denuvo, which can treat you to occasional FPS drops. There is also an option to buy XP and silver boosters, allowing players to spend less time actually playing this masterpiece. The story feels disjointed, but at least there is a beautiful open world where you can complete repetitive quests and grind for hours. Pirates are spared from all these wonderful features, apart from the repetitive quests. Therefore, they unfortunately get a little less of the full masochistic experience.
NAH YEAH!!!!!!!!
Series X. 5/10
