About

Do you miss running your finger along the spines of all your game boxes, deciding what you might be in the mood to play? Do you long for instruction manuals, inlays, and that intoxicating plasticky smell when you crack open a new box and bury your nose inside. Ahhh.
BOXROOM is a shrine to all of that; a little space to call your own, and a way to explore and interact with your game library in a more meaningful way.
It's a throwback to the bedrooms and game-spaces of yesteryear - a place for shelves, cabinets and curated displays, for posters, figurines and collectors items.
It's also a game, if you want to call it that; a design/decorator-sim giving you the space to put a stamp on your Steam library and game collection. After setting up your room and preferred shelving arrangement, the game will boot your ACTUAL Steam library onto the shelves - giving you space to arrange, curate and explore your collection as you see fit.
Put your feet up! Sit back and soak in the space.
You can then share your room with a friend (or your mortal enemy I suppose) to show off your collection in all its glory.

Build, design and arrange your game room
Populate your shelves with your actual game library, direct from Steam
Search the BoxCo Catalogue for your preferred furniture and furnishings
Secret figures, collector's editions and upgrades based on certain games - how many are hiding in your collection?
Pick up, inspect and re-arrange your game-boxes as you see fit
Boot your games....from BOXROOM!
Share your rooms with friends and show off your collection
Integrate your own items and textures with Steam Workshop functionality.

If the game gets a updown/staircase system its a steal for ~8$
What is worse then spending 3 hours of your life categorizing games in a room YOU spended 40 min in to make it look nice and comfy? . . . Realising that you need more space~ - Anyway the game has a few smaller bugs, but nothing serious. - Its also missing a lot of feature as well that people would expect, but its an Indie Early access game with a roadmap . . . so we will see about that in the future i guess. The game shows us a better world where we still 'OWN' our games. Personally i would say the game worth its price, BUT at the end this game will be yet another cozy game that we played with for a few hour then we used it as a decoration in our steam library. So if anyone reading this and that is what you looking for or you are a huge fan of the 'SteamVr home' then yes, i recommend this game. o7 PS '26.06.29' (corrent bugs/ needed futures): - Some items need 're-alignment' and the option to re-size, cuz they are clipping true walls. - A search bar would be nice, otherwise the game will turn into a memory game IF you have more then 500+ game. - The FOV feels . . . strange? - The control layout could use some work or we need an easier way to change/apply texture to the boxes.

This isn't just a game for creating your own gallery; it's also a personal space where you can arrange things exactly how you like. I didn't just make a gallery for the games I bought on Steam—I created a place filled with frames telling stories about the things and franchises I love. It’s become my go-to sanctuary for whenever I have some free time. This "game" was worth every penny. Huge thanks to the devs and to Nested Loop Studios for creating such a fantastic experience.
This is an amazing idea, in theory. A digital world to access your games as if it were your actual room/home is an incredible idea. However, I find the limited game library disappointing. There's several games I'd love to have in this system. As well, the limited games with specialty items sucks, as some items from certain games would be an amazing addition to the design possibilities for the room. Hopefully my problems with the game are fixed , since the game is still in Early Access. Either way, still an awesome idea that I can't wait to see develop!
this game is good! when im not stuck in a table.
I really wanted to enjoy this game as the concept is amazing, but some features just do not work. You need to create a shortcut to get in on your desktop, and non of the games in game would display any game art. Major disappointment. I think valve should look into creating something like this themselves but as it stands now, this game isn't even worth the discounted price. Shame.
I played thinking it was a cool concept, I opened it and the screen tearing was super distracting. I tried everything to fix it but nothing worked. I would recommend waiting for a few patches.
A very neat little game, I just wish that it had more game covers in it
