Bastion

Hi I am currently playing this game and i got black screen twice when i talked to stranger at the beginning of the bastion stage especially after talking to him about core. Is this issue with the game or my system? Not happy with constant black screen after talking to guy in bastion. Game becomes unplayable and had to restart game again and again. Note: My issue resolved with shifting to legacy version.

Not bad, but still enjoyable

Bastion was the first game I ever played of Supergiant Games and I had a great time with it. The gameplay feels very balanced and natural - and it was really fun to experiment with all the available stuff in the game, that can make the experience less or also more challenging, depending on the player's needs and wants. The music, art direction and level design is also so good and just somehow makes me feel very happy, playing this game. It is a shorter game when playing it once, but still incredibly fun and unique!

Игра куплена в горбатые годы, почему не прошел не помню...решил исправить положение и не пожалел. Могу смело заявить, что игра прошла проверку временем. Да геймплей простоват, но подача и само повествование на высоте. Визуал прост, но цепляет, озвучка и музыкальное сопровождение божественно, хотя при "прохождении" испытаний, особенно на счёт, начинает подташнивать....В любом случае игру рекомендую, неспешно скоротать вечера и получить удовольствие самое то)

Even to this day, the story and gameplay still speaks a lot about the beauty and action of the game, and what I still love the most was the narration and repetition in combat. As I upgraded and maxed out all my weapons, it was still a challenge game to go through.

it's good, not as good as Hades but still hold up pretty well in 2026

Supergiant has a knack for creating games that seamlessly blend great storytelling and fun gameplay. While Bastion's overall narrative is not ultra-deep, its simplicity allows the player to get easily inmersed and, as a direct consequence, engage naturally with the gameplay. And the gameplay is also quite fun. There's weapon variety and incentive to switch things up if something isn't working. The challenge system is enjoyable too, allowing the player to customise the game's difficulty and enjoy some extra rewards based on your performance. Having said that, I can't seem to articulate why, but the controls sometimes can feel a little unresponsive. Nothing too grave, though. Overall, a real fun game. Not too complex, and that's great.

Played on Xbox Arcade when it came out on 360. Had to play it again after Hades 1 and 2, and what a nice game this still is, Nice to see some things they carried to Hades, art and sound fx too Will complete Supergiant catalogue soon
