An Auspicious Beginning One look and there can be no mistaking it: this is a Supergiant game through and through. The visual affect, the animation, the colors, the soundtrack, the story... all dripping with style. It's rough around the edges, but it's clear that even in their first effort, Supergiant knew what it was all about and knew how to get it done. Much like the first two "Max Payne" games, "Bastion" stands or falls on your appreciation of it's narration. Much like the first two "Max Payne" games, "Bastion" delivers on that front. Logan Cunningham may not quite be James McAffery famous, but "the kid just needs some time," as Rucks might say. It's not every day you get a game that spins a yarn as well and as effortlessly as "Bastion" does. That alone makes it worth checking out. But if you're not here for the story, and the (admittedly simple) game play doesn't get you, or the narration rubs you the wrong way, that soundtrack is absolutely worth a listen. Or ten. Seriously, the soundtrack alone is worth the price of admission and you get a great little game to boot. Unconditional recommend. Turbo thumbs up (which are what you get after dropping the hammer with the dueling pistols for a stretch), 8/10 for the numbers crowd. edit: yeah, yeah. i know; the kid'll need me to make corrections. i'll be ready for 'em.

cool voice narrator, fun gameplay, good story
It's Supergiant. what more is there to say? It's an amazing game with deep characters, great game play, 10/10 soundtrack, and a story that makes me emotional.
Una jugabilidad bastante divertida y una historia memorable
Played this before Supergiant were cool. it's fun
Quite the excellent game that is worth playing for the soundtrack alone.
I bought this game all the way back at launch, but am only now playing it. (Ignore the play time Steam is just having tracking issues.) The game is incredibly charming and a very enjoyable time for the cost. It's not nearly as fun or pulse pounding as other Super Giant games but still well worth the time and oh so pretty and cozy.
A really good game, but the aim with a gamepad can be a pain.
Absolutely incredible. Holds up to today's standards just fine.
