Barbarie de juego, una vez pruebas más trabajos de Supergiant Games ves como sus raíces estaban más que bien asentadas. Bastion es una experiencia corta pero más que recomendable, sobre todo si ya has jugado otros títulos del estudio.
One of my favorite games ever, stands the test of time. The art, the music, the gameplay, all of it melds nicely together.

This game has a special place in my heart - I remember playing it with my brother in my father's office growing up, and, now, playing it as an adult, I have to say it holds up so incredibly well. Supergiant games is obviously one of the best studios at making these types of Indie games that stick with you, but Bastion being their first attempt (I believe) really shows their genius. I often will just remember the Ruck's voice as I'm going about the day or put on the amazing score (I'm looking at you Zia and Zulf's theme) - btw shoutout Darren Korb on the amazing musical production. I don't think theres anything wrong with this game - maybe the challenges get a little tedious but thats a far cry from tearing this game down from the masterpiece that it is! A Beautiful Calamity 9/10
Bastion is an amazing game! It was made by the same developers as Hades, Transistor and Pyre. You can really see the similarities with all of those games, and if you're a fan of any of them, I do recommend it. However, the game is pretty old, and considering it was the first game in this style the developers made, you can definitely notice it. It feels like Hades stripped of some of the fun elements. It is overall worth playing, specially if you didn't play any of their later games, since I think then you won't be noticing this backwards feeling at all. I would rate Bastion a solid 7/10 and a game definitely worth picking up on sale!
it dont play
This is the game that would solidify Supergiant's place amongst indie developers. Yes, compared to their later titles, especially Hades, its a bit clunky and shows its age in the gameplay. Despite that, its art and presentation still holds up very well. The smooth voice of the reactive narrator makes every action you do feel very meaningful, and Darren Korb's soundtrack sets the tone perfectly for every encounter. Not too long of game and easily completed within 8-9 hours. More than worth a buy especially when it gets discounted for so low. Experience the proto-Hades that is Bastion
stilll one of my favorite games ever. kind of insane
Good
Backlog Game: 7 I'm by no means a professional review writer, but, I have decided to write reviews on the games that I have finished from my backlog. Understand that reviews are subjective and experiences may differ from person to person. I may not have liked a game everyone else liked, or disliked a game everyone else disliked. I have not necessarily done everything there was/is to do in the game as I'm only playing games as a hobby. Keep that it mind as you read on. Art/Graphics - 9/10 The art of this game is amazing. I love it. I love the almost painterly style of it all. There were many times I found myself just stopping to look at the surrounding area. From the thickets of a jungle, to the almost fort like structure. I thought the art was amazing Sound - 9/10 The sounds in this game were very nice. The weapons sound pretty cool, the hammer being my favorite. The narrator was incredible for the game. Narrating on a lot of little things you do, and overall sort of telling the story as you are walking around on the way to an objective. Soundtrack - 9/10 Absolutely beautiful soundtrack, very much a vagabond kinda feel to the whole soundtrack. Which makes sense given the overall theme of the game. Story - 9/10 You play as 'the kid'. You are a guard on the 'wall', you wake up on the wall with ♥♥♥♥ hitting the fan. This being referred to as the 'calamity'. A voice in the sky tells you that you need to get to the bastion in order to try to fix the damage the calamity has done. Gameplay - 8/10 The gameplay was pretty good, the camera isn't quite top down, but more offset to the sit. Similar to an isometric game. Though for me, the aiming could get kind of awkward at times, and sometimes it can get kind of confusing where the edge of the level is. Yes there is a big black void on the level edge, but sometimes you walk somewhere you think you can and fall of, and sometimes the other way around. Nothing too extreme, just something I ran into as a problem. Overall - 9/10 I really enjoyed my time with this game, the story kept me interested throughout the whole thing. I would recommend at full price.
