Great game. Great soundtrack.
roligt spel det är inte så långt med jätte bra
Bastion is an Action Adventure RPG about the Kid and his mission to restore the world after the Calamity has hit it, trying to round up any available survivors from the region of the world. The game offers multiple zones each that gets rebuilt piece by piece as you walk along the road which is interesting for a game that came out back in 2011, there are also zones which are called "Proving Grounds" where you get to test your skills with different weapon styles. There are a couple of buildings that you find during your walkthrough that you get to build later on back at your base which is going to offer you lots of things including weapons, skills, upgrades, bounty board..etc You play depending on your playstyle with the weapon matching your likeness, many secondary weapons and skills to choose from as well. Great OST and music which is not a surprise for the studio that made Hades 1 and 2, I have played this game a bit late but I don't regret it at all, an emotional journey and lots of lore and narration from the beginning till the end which I really enjoyed. There are no cinematic, HP bar in middle of screen closed room boss fights, however there are giant elite and unique enemies / Mini Bosses that you will encounter during your journey, this was the only downside for me since I'm a person who loves boss fights. Really recommended Action-Adventure RPG made by the same studio that made Hades 1 & 2 "Supergiant Games" and really nice to play if you love this specific genre. Overall Rating 8/10
Great, short Supergiant game
great, fairly linear story with a meaningful end. AWESOME narrator always feeding you stuff while you go ham. soundtrack is all over in the best way. love that the post-game loop is written into it. fun fun mini games and challenges definitely go for 100%

Even by today's standards Bastion holds up very well. Fun game, great music, okay challenge. Things I liked in Bastion more than Transistor: - Enemy design. Animals have personality, biomes are different, there's more variety; - Homebase to go back to; 6 interactive facilities instead of 1 menu; - Narrated storytelling during challenges; challenges themselves are much better, more variety between 'dreams' as they have different biomes, enemy types and storytelling; - Bastion has more terrain interactions, underground and flying enemies; - Side-quests for weapon upgrades are really nice; - Between the homebase, side-quests, dreams and albeit very minor non-linearity it feels like I'm choosing to do things rather than being railroaded to always walk forward as in Transistor; - the story and overall drama is clear; - Gods > Limiters, and they are much more impactful than limiters. The "-12 memory" limiter in Transistor is just so anti-gameplay; - The closure feels like a proper finish for the story. Transistor is very anti-climactic, the boss didn't pose a challenge and I didn't care for his cause at all;
