It's an OK game at start, gets too boring after a while!
One of the best Soulslike games I've ever played. It has a few differences compared to others in the genre (like the absence of stamina and dodge weight), but it's very well implemented in the game as a whole. Visually, it’s stunning; the music is incredible; the overall atmosphere is amazing; the parry system is incredibly satisfying (and some bosses really make you push that system to its limits—one particular fight has become my favorite in recent years); and the story is the kind that hits you hard and leaves you staring at the ceiling at night. Even though it’s harder, I’d choose the best ending on all my playthroughs just to make everyone happy. Right now, I haven’t played the “Eirene’s Warforge” DLC yet—I have to finish my 5th playthrough to unlock it—but if it’s as good as the base game, I’m sure it won’t disappoint. The only thing I regret is not having access to the soundtrack and artbook outside the game to view whenever I want.
Summary: A good souls-like, if you buy into its strengths and forgive its weaknesses. Combat: Combat is fluid, and there are very few checkmate situations. I can think of two off the top of my head, both including grabs. Multiple phase bosses are used sparingly and this preserves the uniqueness. The input buffer is good, better than Dark Souls III. Boss AIs are varied, and this also gives the game flavor to break up the pace. Weapon variety (at least with greatswords) was good, there are generally three types (swords, lances, scythes) and this kept combat varied. Music: The music is appropriate and seamless. it is in the background and doesn't stand out, which is a good thing in a game like this. Level Design: The levels are fairly linear. Branching paths, open expanses, and good use of verticality is present. There is one area that reminds me of the Great Tree in Dark Souls. Jumping down was frustrating at this point, and I had to change my controller screen to navigate this area. Other level design aspects also remind me of Dark Souls 1, so the DNA is clear. Not original, but at least inspired by the best. Lore: Here's where the game falls short. The story is presented in a way that sometimes devolves into exposition. The factions are diagetically interesting, but the developments are fairly standard and predictable. Overall: In my opinion, this game is decently enjoyable, if you forgive its flaws. I could definitely see the studio making a sequel. For me, this game is a 7/10. It is good, but one playthrough is enough for me.
好玩爱玩,快出dlc
Saquen el true ending, totalmente worth it
我觉得做很好也很好玩.
巧克力味的屎,傲慢,打折还100多不如正经买个魂,或者买个只狼,仁王啥的,再不济买个吃血代码
剧情很不错,整体玩起来也不错
A good game, but an annoying one. I don't really like the combat system with the 4 Spell frames. The "Parry" Force push has a delay which I was never quite able to master, but got ok enough with it for boss. The Piecing one, I don't think is that useful, and usually just got me killed, when I switched to it by mistake. (B button is run... LB+B is The Piecing Spell frame... and I just selected just trying to run and didn't notice.... LB to shield, parry or dodge... nope I just committed seppuku,...) The Shield and Thunder step dodge are pretty good though.
