Reviews
Beautiful and good "souls-like" very similar to the work of Tsutomu Nihei
I usually don’t write reviews, but I felt like Ai Limit deserved it. Im a pretty big Soulsborne fan, played every souls game and finished them multiple times, including Bloodborne, Demon Souls, Sekiro, and Elden Ring. I have over 100 hours in all of them and have around 1K hours on Dark Souls 3 (691 hours on PlayStation and 350ish hours on steam). Ai Limit is hands down the best Souls Like I played in my life. I felt like it even rivaled my favorite game of all time, which is Dark Souls 3. Almost everything about this game was phenomenal: main character, combat, weapons, areas, and having some really nice and memorable bosses. Combat felt really strange to get used to at first due to no stamina existing in the game, but after I got used to it, combat felt really really smooth. Best way I can describe the combat: Its somewhat of a mix of both Bloodborne and Dark Souls 3/Elden Ring, with some Sekiro elements with a certain weapon. Game also comes with a free post game rouge like game mode, and a boss rush mode, which adds more playtime for this game. Basically I fell in love with this game, easily enters my top 10 games, but of course it aint a perfect game. Some enemies can get repetitive too quickly, some of the bosses are also can feel like pain to fight and straight up waste your time with a lot of stalling, also personally story wasn’t for me, even if I liked few of the side characters and the main character. Sometimes areas either feel too short or can get very very long, and not all of em, but certain parts in couple of areas also has some wacky enemy placements. Overall, Ai limit is definitely a really good game. If you love dark souls and other fromsoftware games, give this game a shot.
我觉得做很好也很好玩.
One of the best Soulslike games I've ever played. It has a few differences compared to others in the genre (like the absence of stamina and dodge weight), but it's very well implemented in the game as a whole. Visually, it’s stunning; the music is incredible; the overall atmosphere is amazing; the parry system is incredibly satisfying (and some bosses really make you push that system to its limits—one particular fight has become my favorite in recent years); and the story is the kind that hits you hard and leaves you staring at the ceiling at night. Even though it’s harder, I’d choose the best ending on all my playthroughs just to make everyone happy. Right now, I haven’t played the “Eirene’s Warforge” DLC yet—I have to finish my 5th playthrough to unlock it—but if it’s as good as the base game, I’m sure it won’t disappoint. The only thing I regret is not having access to the soundtrack and artbook outside the game to view whenever I want.
God, this was going to be such a positive review up to the ending. It's a solid Soulslike in its fundamentals - decent map design, enemy design, combat, exploration, music, you name it. It's never as good as Dark Souls in any particular area, but it's tolerable enough. Unfortunately, they decided to also take the maddeningly complex NPC questline approach from FromSoftware and make it even worse. I wanted to see the end of the NPC quests, so I was being super careful to explore and complete the quests, but one NPC somehow bugged out and never appeared where he was supposed to, so then it cascaded and broke all the other questlines. By the time I beat the second to last boss, I went back and spent a bunch of time trying to fix it, only to realize that they apparently lock you out from all the questlines at that point of the game regardless. In fact, the game was bugged enough that the portal to the last boss didn't even properly show up until I had reloaded the area multiple times. I felt so demotivated that I never even bothered to beat the last boss. Ugh. The game's simply not good enough to want to play over again, so if you're a completionist, I'd look elsewhere. If you just want a competent Soulslike that never really shines anywhere but will be fun enough to spend some time, get it on sale, but expect bugs.
巧克力味的屎,傲慢,打折还100多不如正经买个魂,或者买个只狼,仁王啥的,再不济买个吃血代码
