Orbital weapons, nuclear strikes, mechs are just some of the ingredients you get to play with. Pick your favorite arsenal and allegiance and lay waste to your enemies, scattering their burning carcasses among the Orion Sector.

Take on the mantle of Aster, Commander of the Protectorate, tasked with saving humanity from losing access to interstellar travel and receding into an age of darkness and ignorance. Engage in a cinematic RPG experience where your choices shape the future of the galaxy, then drop into the battlefields to execute on your strategies.

Ally yourself with the right parties, build out your force, and protect the Orion sector.
A Caelo Ad Terram.
For centuries the Protectorate have been the stalwart defenders of humanity’s ventures through the Orion Arm, guarding against enemies foreign and domestic of the United Earth Spheres. As humanity’s galactic infrastructure teeters on the brink of collapse over a deficit of the resource “flux,” the Protectorate brings honed tactics and heavy firepower to bear. Field veteran commandos to deep strike enemy positions, or bring the heavy firepower of your mech divisions to break enemy lines.
Grow. Expand. Exterminate.
The Grell are a tide of highly evolved plant-like creatures that spawn sites of raw flux crystals through the galaxy, and humanity’s first contact with alien life. As external powers dive deeper into exploiting flux for faster than light travel, the once passive Grell have begun to flood across worlds, wiping out those who would threaten their biosphere. Expand your blooms by spreading the roots of your biomass across the battlefield, and rip apart your enemies with twisted evolutions from the acidic Harbinger to the rampaging Reaver.
Across a Million Worlds, We March.
The Legion of Truth are a fanatical empire from beyond the reaches of known space, devoted to their Emperor and a pantheon of god-like beings. Their armies crusade across the cosmos, bringing all in their path under the Idals, and purging those unwilling or unable to accept the voice. Drown your enemies with waves of expendable Thralls and Fanatics, and break your enemy under the treads of the titanic Terror Tank, a mobile fortress that can reconfigure with the tide of battle.
For Purpose. For Survival.
The Xol are civilization of autonomous robotic consciousness, brought to the brink of extinction by the dark crusade of the Legion. Though fiercely individualistic, they are united by one imperative: survival. As the tide of annihilation turns against them, the Xol will bring the most advanced robotics technology in the galaxy to bear, wield the accumulated genius of their society, and wipe out all who threaten their future.
Rank to become the dominant battle group in the sector as you take part in a living, breathing galaxy shared by thousands of real players. I almost never post recommendations on Steam, even for my favorite franchise - Monster Hunter. But this game truly deserves some good vibes. They are doing a remarkable job of taking an RTS, walking a path clearly laid out by Star Craft, but doing a much better job than Blizzard has done in the past decade. This game has soul and charm. What it lacks, is polish and mechanical feedback. It is hard to know what is going on with your army; the pathing isn't great just yet; and some of the animations are rough (in a pretty funny way, I've never seen an aircraft carrier slip and slide). But the races are so cool; I play the Grell and it's not like any other race I've played. You expect it to be the Zerg-type class but it's really not - it's more like playing a healer (with Vinthra as hero anyway) in an MMO, keeping your tanks topped up and letting your DPS roll over armies. It's super fulfilling once you get the hang of it. Coop is amazing. It's smooth; the galactic war map is nicely done and the mode gives you a real reason to keep pushing forward. Not just to grind up a hero; your actions actually matter to the war at large. I would urge you to give it a try and, if you do, I hope you enjoy it.

In it's current state I would only recommend this game if you want to support the developers. While the game has incredible potential and some fantastic concepts like: separate coop and pvp balance and mechanics, unique faction design, streamlined economy, mercenary factions etc, there lies more than a couple of problems. ZeroSpace is currently in a very early alpha state (it literally says so in the menus). With that comes a lot of bugs, unfinished/undercooked features, technical problems and balance issues. The team is also a small group of 35 people that work mostly remotely in different parts of the world, so progress won't be as fast as in other bigger studios. There is also the price issue. As I understand the mentioned 40 $/euro is the final price, so the 1.0 release should not increase it. The problem is that many complete and fully polished titles cost 40 euro or less and people will judge your game based on the price to content ratio. Which is understandable after Stormgate and the overall ♥♥♥♥♥♥ economical situation of most people. Finally the game will take a considerable amount of time to get out of EA. Based on the amount of things that are missing, need more work or even reworks I would guess that about 2 years are needed for the game to reach version 1.0 . Which is why the 40 euro price tag is very controversial. You are paying for the promise of a 1.0 release, which after the Stormgate fiasco is a very bold move. Despite that I think that ZeroSpace will eventually reach 1.0 and become a truly worthy successor of StarCraft 2. It is a very ambitious project and the developers have a clear vision how they want to develop the game. I wish them good luck.
If you want to be an early access contributor to the next Stormgate, ZeroSpace is for you.
Fun game, Cannot wait until it is finished/needs some polish.
The game is not worth the price right now. It has a lot of bugs. I can barely get 10-15 fps during cutscenses even though I have a higher end graphics card (5070 ti). 4k resolution doesn't work very well. Sometimes the ability hotkeys don't work, I would hardly even call this game ready for alpha especially for the price it is at right now
I cannot play this game with arrow keys for moving the camera around the map, also edge scrolling is just not for me. Too much going on, I have to move the camera on the map fast, I am best to do that with the ADSW keys, however there is no way to select this option. For me the game is unplayable without this feature. The arrow keys are for the right hand, my right hand is on the mouse. Who thought this was a good idea?
As others have said, this game feels like the spiritual successor to StarCraft 2. I am really enjoying it.
Just sad that we now live in an AGE were we pay full price for uncomplete games oh you may have bugs just deal with it while we give you the game you want smdh
