About
Medieval Kingdom Wars brings a fresh perspective to the grand strategy genre, combining world map kingdom management with a full-on real time approach. It`s 1336, the time of the Hundred Years' War
You start the game as a minor noble, in service to your King. With over a dozen nations and over 50 Lords to choose from, each playthrough is truly unique and tells it`s own story.
There are many ways to play the game. The Grand Campaign. Classical RTS skirmish with solo, coop and multiplayer options. And a story driven introductory campaign that introduced the player to the the time period through 9 crafted scenarios.
Everything takes place in real-time, with rogue like game progression - everything you do is constantly saved, even during the battle. There are no second chances, no turns, or multiple reloads.
This is a first game to fuse Fixed Force and RTS gameplay. As you bring your army to battle, you can also set up your siege camp or town, collect resources and train new troops as the battle unfolds.
Battles are truly epic - with up to 120 battalions per battle. Bloody sieges, pitched field battles, and naval warfare unfolds with brutal historical realism and survival elements. Includes looting corpses, or taking apart towns for resources.
You have the freedom to manage everything up-close and personal by entering towns in RTS mode. Task your peasants, construct buildings and walls, and position your troops. Same time you can also manage everything on the world map.
Late Middle ages was a time of many technological breakthroughs. The game represents this with complex historical tech tree - with over 240 innovations and local technologies - from religious matters to military and innovative siege tactics.
As you improve your lordship, you will engage in complex feudal system within your Kingdom. Serving your King and maintaining relations with your fellow lords, as well as influencing larger European politics.
Eventually you can rebel, and overthrow your King. This opens entire new level of gameplay. As you hire new Lords, divide the land between them, and engage in a complex diplomatic system of European politics.
Beautiful, living and ever changing game world awaits you. The map of Western Europe is complete with nearly 200 towns and hamlets. The towns are enormous and hand-crafted historical reproduction of actual medieval towns.

i have played both this and the other games they made i can tell u NONE of them are worth the asking price these devs abuse the Steam early access and RErelease the same game with MAYBY few changes DO NOT SUPPORT these devs EVERY single game of them use the same map or a variation on it
Boring trash
A cheap copy of a Total War game. The perdormance is poor, the visuals are poor, the mechanics are shallow, bugs, unintuitive controlls, there just couple maps that are constantly repeated. This may be good as student project, not as something you sell to people. There are no reasons to recommend this game on its own, let alone over any of the older TW games, just get them instead.
Got scammed :,c
There’s not much to say. It’s not fun and quite an empty game.
I got this game on bundle, and this was the second game I've played of the series. Just minor improvements from the previous entry (Kingdom Wars 2: Definitive Edition). There are bigger maps and a stronger focus on global strategy sound great on paper, but after a while it becomes clear you’re mostly playing the same game again. Fun at first, then repetition slowly creeps in like winter in a medieval village. I can only recommended for fans of the genre, if bought on sale. I'll give it a 6/10.
The concepts around this game is really amazing, to combine both RTS and real time grand strategy is always good, but to add RTS and build up your towns and cities and make them formidable and prosperous is really great. So the creators get a A+ for concepts. However, the execution though interesting and fun has issues and restraints on it. I experienced crashes to desktop mainly going from town, city, and battle to map... not always but it happens. The actions on map make difficult to fully enjoy it, you have buttons that generate in army that are not meant for the army like recruit or it actually says something like "it costs silver to recruit troops on the map so for early game they recommend recruiting them from towns and cities and switch them over to your army"... so your army cannot hit recruit, it keeps you from doing it even though the button exists, they won't let you use it. But when you click on the city and click the same button it lets you recruit anyways so they want you to transfer troops between city and army... but then again the button transfer troops won't work and it forces you do double click on the city over and over until it pops up! Also for diplomacy there is nothing and you do not even know what is going on, they say France will invade England with Scotland in the intro but then the Papacy, Bavaria, Hungry, Castile, and many other Armies are marching around England (within 1-2 seasons).. they have peace symbols shown next to their armies and conquered towns but they take over towns but you can take them back over and I will add the same "peace" symbols are on the other armies of the nation you are in. They have new games so I will stop playing this and move on to the others... if you know the history of the Hundred Years war or you watched the Robin Hood movie with Russell Crowe you don't need to play it!
This developer or company, dont know, just releases more or less the same game year after year after year. No real improvements, just a different name, slight map and color changes but the same broken mechanics underneath it. All games from this studio are more or less the same with a different coat of paint. Dev added me a while back on steam for absolutely no reason. So yeah. I will stay away from this studio and franchise as far as possible
Derinlik yok, tatmin yok.
