Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.14/day in the week to Aug 17 → 1/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
Went into this game with high hopes but was terribly disappointed. The gameplay is incredibly repetitive and boring. The creatures only appear in designated areas. 80% of the game is a glorified crawling and loading screen simulator. (I wish I was joking.) Make too much noise and you just generate the same generic death scene. Rinse, repeat.
Помимо пресного геймплея, очень понравилось, что главный герой — небинарная чернокожая беременная женщина-инженер, астматик, в очках, не видящая дальше своего носа, топающая как слон и выступающая обузой, из-за которой умирают другие люди.

It's always important when using a person's physical limitation (or disability) as a video game mechanic to do so with care and sensitivity (such as in the Hellblade games). In this case, the use of hampering the lead character with asthma is nothing more than a cheap game mechanic. Literally everything triggers an attack (there's a quick-time event where you can try to prevent an attack - an insult beyond description). Unlike real life, inhalers only have one dosage before they're useless, as opposed to 100 doses. But that's ok, because there's inhalers lying around everywhere. Which must mean everyone in the world has asthma. A world populated with hyper-chronic asthmatics and single dose inhalers. How the main character ever got pregnant having this level of asthma is beyond me. Lifting a spoon almost triggers her. What will she do when there's no more single-does inhalers left in the world? Because no-one is making them, such is the situation. How will she deal with a screaming baby - never mind delivering it - without going into an asthma coma? And then there's the flashlight batteries that only last 1 minute, or the fact that, in the hospital, everyone walks on crunchy sand to disguise the sound of their shoes on hard floors when they could just walk around in their socks or bare feet. All these senseless obstacles thrown the player's way to slow everything to an agonising crawl. At certain points, monsters will patrol a path. You sneak past them, unheard, but then the monster will follow you to the next mini-zone and patrol that, forcing you into the next little section, where it will follow you again and do another little patrol. But remember: these monsters can't see and you got past them without them hearing, so why are they still following you around, forcing you into asthma attacks, where you have to use your inhaler, only for the sound of the spray to bring the monster back, triggering you all over again, forcing you to use another spray. And on it goes. Good graphics / sound, voice-acting and overall solid production is all for nothing. 'A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead' is nothing more than an asthma parody with monsters. Or 'Alien Isolation' on stupid.
I was excited to try this game and dive into the Quiet Place universe. Unfortunately, this thing falls flat on its face. You play as a pregnant, asthmatic, African American girl with glasses. The only thing that's missing is making her an amputee. They tried to add to the 'fear' by giving you scheduled asthma attacks. No worries though, there are inhalers and stimulants everywhere in the game even though I haven't seen an inhaler in person in over 20 years. Equally ridiculous is the creature movements. The creature pivots unnaturally like an old Resident Evil game discovering joysticks for the first time. This game could have been a couple hours long tops but they drag it out by making you crawl. It's painfully slow and boring. The most exciting thing about the game is the trailer. I should have known better than to trust a video game based on a movie. 9 out of 10 times it's a miss. This is definitely a miss.
-asthma aspect is a annoying and boring. -Alot of waiting around to move. -Story was interesting but gameplay. -Concept works better in movie form then as a videogame.
Sucks major donkey ♥♥♥♥. The planks are the worst gameplay element I have ever tried in a game.
i wish i knew that the main character is an asthmatic dumbass that 100% wouldve died during the first few weeks and not a normal person
This game is just straight up boring, I didn't want to finish it and it just did nothing for me. The gameplay is basic and boring and the mic feature sounds cool but it really does nothing. I would not recommend this game to anyone who liked the movies just because it has a really weak story and the gameplay is a drag to get through.
I like the game, I really do. Although I dont give it a straight negative review, I do not like how it plays. You play as a young woman named Alex who is pregnant and who has asthma during the time of the invasion....cool. The problem is that she is so asthmatic that if you miss a single inhaler you are pretty much ♥♥♥♥♥♥. It is very linear so there is really no hiding or escape from the monster, the mechanic works that if she stresses out, aka seeing the monster, even remotely 50 feet from her she will start to panic and having asthma attacks, if you dont have an inhaler guess what????????????!!!!!! YOU ARE ♥♥♥♥♥♥!!!!! I get it that its part of the game to make it challenging but it doesnt make it scary, it makes the game stressful above anything else. I could not even finish this game because of it. I picked it up after being on my wishlist for so long because I am a fan of the movies. If you are a die hard fan than this is the game for you, if you want something stressful thats gonna make you punch a hole in your monitor this game is for you. If youre looking for something honestly scary and keeps the chills running down the spine, once you have experienced the monster, this is not the game for you.
good story and gameplay but its short and theres no part 2
