If you are a fan of DoW1 then this game is not for you due to how shallow the rts side is If you are a fan of DoW2 then this game is not for you due to how shallow the rpg side is If you are a fan of League of Legends then yeah sure, maybe this might be for you I had high hopes for DoW3 as on the surface it looked closer to DoW1 with actual base building and a higher focus on non-hero units then DoW2 had but that's just for show. When you play the game it all falls apart as almost all of the attention is on the "Elite" units which are just heroes by a different name. Standard units are just background noise that you group up into a blob and attack-move towards the enemy as you focus on the heroes to do most of the real work. In fact I found that using standard units was annoying as they all come with useful abilities that the game goes out of its way to make as bothersome to use as possible. Top it off with the annoying Winter Assault like campaign choice that forces you to play every faction in a leap frog style progression: Mission 1: Space Marines Mission 2: Orks Mission 3: Eldar Mission 4: Back to Space Marines and etc. And you end up with a shallow moba style of game that seems like it was made purely for a multiplayer/Last Stand type of deal.
Ugly trash game that, ever so wisely, decided to follow the "MOBA" route of RTS design that was popular, even though it was never successful. Graphically? Look at the dude from all the artwork and that'll tell you everything you need about the visuals. They couldn't make Gabe uglier if they tried. Plus the "enhanced mobility" moves the main heroes get and we see are 8+ foot tall superhuman in superheavy power armor doing fruity loop ninja leaps like my man thinks he's in Naruto. I'm honestly amazed they didn't have him do "the anime run." Gameplay? Again, it thinks it's a MOBA...control the channels, babe! That worked out just oh so well for Command and Conquer 4, plus who could forget the greatest title ever, End of Nations. Boring missions, boring gameplay, boring art. Boring game. If the developers spent half as much on game design as on these fake upvote reviews, the game might've been good...
WARNING! 10 year old game and it still has "DENUVO" ACTIVE! Thought I would give it a chance and download it again but it still has "DENUVO" so NOPE! Wish I could get a refunds for it, no way I'm installing "DENUVO" on my new Computer.
Absolute garbage. This peak heresy for an RTS , and for the love of Emperor don't buy this auto-clicker-simulator that pretends to be an actual RTS. Somebody call the Inquisition on Relic for ever releasing this after the previous titles.

Must have come out during MOBA craze, terrible and i hope they don't use this game as a template for DoW 4 at all.
DISCLAIMER: I Wish i can give this a "mixed bag" option. This game is like, that one charming and Interesting dude you know he's an a-hole and full of crap, and yet you still befriended him anyway because he's fun to be around with. This game is exactly like that.
Bad core mechanics, constant bugs, horrible UX/UI, painfully slow pacing, a detrimental plot, and terrible voice acting. An absolute mess.
Compared to DOW 1 & 2 this game is terrible experience. Lot of bug, weird and uninteresting gameplay.
Bought this just to play through the campaign before Dawn of War 4 drops. Couldn't finish it. Got through the first ten missions which was a slog. Resources generate far too slowly, I ended up spending most of each mission semi AFK waiting for requisition and power to trickle in so I could actually build some decent units to finish the mission. Got to mission 11 and the game kept crashing every time I moved the camera towards the middle of the map. Tried various graphics settings, but it would crash every single time, making progressing impossible. I'm not holding out hope that this will get fixed any time soon, as others have been having the same crash on mission 11 and others on mission 10 for a few weeks now with no fix. Guess I'll just wait for Dawn of War 4.
