About
In this shadowed world, secrets lie buried deep, and dangers wait in silence. Hordes rise against me, yet I cleave through them with elemental fury. I master the primal forces, bending chaos to my will. In this moment of convergence, I discover my true self, a being forged in both fury and beauty.
This is my dominion now.
I am the essence of ancient storms, summoned by a force beyond mortal comprehension. Born of the will of a faceless mage, I exist for one purpose alone: to become the weapon that reshapes a world ravaged by plague. My creators remain hidden, shrouded in mystery, yet I feel their command burn within me. This world is broken, and I am its reckoning. For I am VOIN.
Every strike I make is a hymn to destruction. My movements are a sacred dance within the heart of chaos. My blade sings as I sever through their ranks, executing perfect strikes, untouchable. I walk this path with purpose—will I remain unscathed?
The wind bends to my will. I leap across the ruins of once-grand castles with ease and soar above rivers raging far below. My fury rains down on them from the sky, leaving nothing but silence in my wake. I was never meant to crawl—I was born to be unbound and untethered.
I dive into the abyss, seeking the power that lies within. I claim weapons forged in the depths of darkness, gear that pulls me closer to my truest self. Yet this is only the beginning. I return to the Master’s Citadel, cleansing what I’ve gathered, sharpening the edge of my soul. And once more, I plunge back into the fray, unbroken, stronger than ever. This cycle defines me—the unyielding, ever-reborn.
They stand before me—titans of flesh and fury, living monuments to annihilation. Their eyes gleam with malice, their tactics ruthless. They believe they will break me. But I face them without fear. For I am no mere mortal standing in their shadow—I am the force destined to shatter their dominion. I walk among gods and monsters, and I do not tremble.

Here I am again! :) What an incredible game! The developer deserves a lot of praise for creating such an amazing experience. After 11 hours of gameplay, I completed every biome currently available at the time of writing this review, up to the Hell Boss biome. As soon as you leave the tutorial and enter the first biome, take a moment to stop and look around. The game has gorgeous graphics and breathtaking landscapes. You can explore almost every corner of the map, so climb a mountain and take in the view it’s absolutely worth it. Now, let's talk about the gameplay. I really enjoyed it. I love this kind of game where you just run around smashing everything in your path hahaha. Your main weapons are swords, daggers, axes, and hammers. Their basic attacks don't differ much besides attack speed, but the real variety comes when you start putting your build together. There are plenty of different builds you can create. Of course, there are always a few meta builds that completely destroy everything on the screen, but the important thing is that you have the freedom to build your character the way you want, based on your weapon skills and equipment. So far I've made two different builds, although neither of them is fully optimized yet since it takes some time to earn all the points I need. The game also has a fusion system that lets you transfer abilities from one piece of equipment to another. This allows you to combine the effects of two different items, making your build even stronger and giving you more customization options. The only thing I didn't like very much is the lack of a minimap. You have to explore quite a bit before finding the biome boss. That's just a personal preference, though. I'm sure many players will enjoy exploring the world without a minimap guiding them everywhere. I highly recommend this game to anyone who enjoys this style of gameplay.

Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.67/day in the week to Aug 5 → 7.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

VOIN has very strong bones. The feeling of core combat is great. The itemisation is varied and interesting. The audio-visual side of things is on-point. But I can't bring myself to play anymore after just a few hours. The problems are the level design, enemy design and combat balance. The maps are open and empty, with very little in terms of interesting level design or engaging traversal puzzles. They feel a bit unfinished. Secondly, enemies are very one-note (litery, most of them have only one attack) so fighting them becomes very repetetive. And considering that most of them have no intresting skills, fighting becomes and endless cycle of mindlessly dodging and attacking. Also, the evenmy variety is absolutelly abysmall. Now that I look back on the trailers, they truthfully show you fighting hordes of identical started enemy in 90% of the shots. Wish I saw it as a red flag before I passed the refund window. Third strike against Voin is how quickly its combat devolves into mindlessly grinding hundreds of identical enemy groups into a fine paste. Just like the endgame of most ARPGS, but with no elements that make it actually bearable (like skill progression, story, quests, varied loot drops, puzzles etc etc). Maybe the problem is me. I came in expecting something souls-like adjecent, or at least more like Darktide, and got Diablo. It might be fun for people who enjoy hack-and-slashers (although a very limited item pool that's very front-loaded and leaves very few suprises after the first two hours will probably be a big turn-off), but it isn't for me. I wonder just how many positive reviews are from people with just a couple of hours under their belt, because I started out really liking the game, and fell out of love the longer I played it.
Absolutely insanely fun game. I'm only at the first map, but i've already found out how to become literally immortal against anything. (Spoilers, emerald heart plus increased invincibility duration after being hit) Will add more as i play more, but this game? Play it. I never say that lightly, i'm a picky bugger.
Pretty fun. Game is really nice to look at. Combat flows well. I'm gonna wait till it's finished to really get into it though as I don't want to get bored.
I don't really like comparing games. However, this felt like a step down from Witchfire with almost minecraft graphics. Maybe, I would appreciate it more, but it felt a bit bland.
Voin is what I wished Doom: The Dark Ages had been. Rip and Tear until it’s done. But with swords, daggers, hammers and the like. Every update has me coming back and putting in at least another 5-10 hours of play in. Given that this is made effectively by one person; the amount of care, depth and creativity on display is something I feel gaming is sorely missing these days.
UPD.
