About

Void Crew is a 1-6 player co-op First Person Space Adventure: Rally your crew, power your spaceship, and get ready for epic space battles, facing chaotic dangers you and your crew never trained for!
In the future, a doctrine of survival unites humanity against a mysterious aggressor - the Hollow. As the chosen ones, it’s up to you as a crew of up to 1-6 mavericks to brave the void and bring order to the galaxy!
Embark on the most advanced spacecrafts ever built, and journey into deep space on thrilling missions that you and your crew absolutely never trained for! Asteroid storms, solar flares and your buddies’ screw-ups will be the least of your worries, as hostile aliens, and desperate human scavengers push your crew to their limits.
Pilot the ship, man the turrets, perform emergency repairs, recharge the power cells, utilize space station weaponry, fabricate munitions and exit the ship on extravehicular missions - be it patching the ship hull or scavenging derelict wrecks.
Teamwork is key: pick a role and prioritize your most urgent tasks with your crew... or try to do everything at once and just wing it as you’ll be short on reliable manpower!
Brute force through thick armor, pierce energy shields, launch missile barrages or snipe weak spots - either way you’ll make sure the enemy ships spin out of control to their destruction - preferably before you blow up! The victor claims the spoils, and you’ll need to scavenge valuable materials to upgrade and face the direst conditions with top notch equipment … and don’t forget to go full fashion victim and customize your character's spacesuit to fly in style and boldly go where you probably shouldn’t have!
Team-up as a crew of 1-6 in co-op: Round up your best buddies and you're in for a wild space ride!
Your ship, your way to play: With a flexible player role system and on-the-go installable ship systems you’ll be able to switch your strategies faster than a rogue asteroid changes course.
Customize and upgrade: Give your character a spiffy new look with rich upgrades, or add more toys to your ship! You'll be the most powerful and stylish crew in the galaxy!

The game is great. I'm sure you will find other reviews telling you about how funny it is with friends who scream when stuff blows up, but I'm here to tell you it's also great when played seriously. When the ship is running smoothly, it's smooth. Everything works perfectly, and it feels great, at least from the pilot and gunner's seats. Our engineer had about 5fps while fixing all the stuff going wrong, but I'm sure she was fine. Also, it's pretty good solo, if you can hold yourself together. You get auto turrets and can set the ship to cruise mode if you need to repair, so it's chill if you can deal with the ship computer giving you rapid updates on every little thing that goes wrong. edit: The game needs more content. The upgrades keep the game a little bit fresh, but right now there are 8 manned guns, each with an ai-controlled variant, and you're going to find one you prefer over the others pretty quick. Personally, I prefer the heat-based machine gun. The objectives can be brought down to such a science I've been in and out in less than 2 minutes, with about 90% of the loot on the ship. The enemies are interesting, but again, they're copies of each other scaled up or down. Except the -morph enemies. Me and my homies hate the electromorph. The bosses are pretty good. I haven't seen the final boss, but the second boss has attacks that the gunner has to shoot down, so that's pretty cool. I would like ship cosmetics, but it's not vital. Overall, something like a 7.5/10, with great potential. I recommend it if it's on sale, or you don't know what to do with a steam gift card.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I really did enjoy playing this but did not realize it used generative AI until well after the refund window. I'll revisit it if it ever replaces the slop with actual voice acting but otherwise I can't in good conscience endorse this. "It makes sense thematically" is just a poor excuse for using the slop machine.
It's a fun game, especially with friends. Online random teams are chaotic as always. Very hit/miss. They do have a solo build which causes a bit of a conundrum. You're better solo than with a 2nd player as the solo buffs provided are so insane. It really isn't worth teaming up with people until you have a group of 4+. Solo you get double damage and all of your weapons power usage is reduced by 2. Nothing else even comes close. Yeah the automatic weapons have some restrictions but that double damage bonus makes up for it by a LOT. Overall a fun game. It's a roguelite so the same grind over and over but I still managed to get about 40h out of it. I think I've had enough though. Grab it on sale and have fun out there.
The game is essentially dead. Roughly 100 to 300 concurrent players worldwide according to steamcharts. And this is reflected in the availability of lobbies, even with crossplay enabled: most lobbies are private. This makes it really hard playing it at all if you're not on a solo trip. I find that unfortunate. I played it a lot during the early access phase about two years ago. Came back recently and found cool, meaningful new content that would be great to play, if there were people to share this experience with. This is really a waste, because it was really fun, chaotic at first, tactical later. And I love the role distribution. Some shoot, some fly, some scavenge, and the poor engineers run marathons to keep the ship operational. However, no point in playing a multiplayer game, if there are no players. Maybe it would help to address the issues other people are pointing out here. Many complain about missing depth and end-game motivation. Many others about bugs, optimization, and network stability issues. If this helps to bring back players, great. I'll gladly board again. Until then, I only recommend buying and playing it, IF you don't mind the issues reported by others and have a regular friend group to play it with.
The gameplay loop is addictive and keeps making you push further into doing 'just more run'. The systems feed into each other perfectly, rewarding creativity and curiosity. Keeping the ship alive requires a ton of smaller mechanics that feel polished enough to be satisfying on their own. Ship and Character progress always feels meaningful, no matter how you play. It’s the kind of loop that makes you sink hours into the game without ever feeling like time was wasted. Great with friends, a lot of fun.
Fun with friends, but not much variety in gameplay. Good to pass the time if you want something relatively simple to play.
Pilot: feels like your piloting a submarine rather than a space ship Gunners: gunning feels really good, but does sort of suck that so many players have to be dedicated to it Engineering: the best in the business, love how boosting the engines relies on the engineer, guns rely on engineers for reloading, its such a really inspired design for this role EVA/Scavenger: its fine, mixes up the gameplay a bit. Give me guns and FPS enemies to fight 8/10 coop game
Care to panic with your friends while your ship is being torn apart? Do you like frantically repairing failure points while blasting your enemies with kinetic and laser weapons? If you answered "yes" to even one of these questions, then this game is for you!
Strange, unwelcoming, difficult, janky, and unfun. This game feels like it wants to be a survival crafting game and doesn't even manage to do that well. I'm gonna try Jump Ship instead whenever I get the chance.
