Void Crew is a 1-6 player co-op First Person Space Adventure: Rally your crew, power your spaceship, and get ready for epic space battles, facing chaotic dangers you and your crew never trained for!
In the future, a doctrine of survival unites humanity against a mysterious aggressor - the Hollow. As the chosen ones, it’s up to you as a crew of up to 1-6 mavericks to brave the void and bring order to the galaxy!
Embark on the most advanced spacecrafts ever built, and journey into deep space on thrilling missions that you and your crew absolutely never trained for! Asteroid storms, solar flares and your buddies’ screw-ups will be the least of your worries, as hostile aliens, and desperate human scavengers push your crew to their limits.
Pilot the ship, man the turrets, perform emergency repairs, recharge the power cells, utilize space station weaponry, fabricate munitions and exit the ship on extravehicular missions - be it patching the ship hull or scavenging derelict wrecks.
Teamwork is key: pick a role and prioritize your most urgent tasks with your crew... or try to do everything at once and just wing it as you’ll be short on reliable manpower!
Brute force through thick armor, pierce energy shields, launch missile barrages or snipe weak spots - either way you’ll make sure the enemy ships spin out of control to their destruction - preferably before you blow up! The victor claims the spoils, and you’ll need to scavenge valuable materials to upgrade and face the direst conditions with top notch equipment … and don’t forget to go full fashion victim and customize your character's spacesuit to fly in style and boldly go where you probably shouldn’t have!

Your ship, your way to play: With a flexible player role system and on-the-go installable ship systems you’ll be able to switch your strategies faster than a rogue asteroid changes course.
Customize and upgrade: Give your character a spiffy new look with rich upgrades, or add more toys to your ship! You'll be the most powerful and stylish crew in the galaxy!

Fun game with friends! The gameplay is INSANELY satisfying with a good crew. This is the type of game that wants a lot of content, which unfortunately it does not have. Hoping for more in the future! Including: -Missions -Weapons -Enemies -Ship Customization -Meta Progression -Map POIs -Run randomization -Emotes Writing in 2025, if you're in the future and you see that they've added more to the game. its a definite BUY

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I was sceptical at first considering that ships move more like submarines and the lower visual quality of ship interiors (materials being stretched or scaled inconsistently for example). The gameplay is very solid when playing with a group of friends. The game absolutely excels at the multi-crew gameplay and creating great tension and difficulty that wants to make you play again. I also have to admit that I was confused about the differences between Void Crew and Jump Space. After playing I would say the game is more focused on the multi-crew aspect and managing the ship while being more of a challenging rogue-like which different runs each time. One of my favourite aspects is that changing and upgrading components is very physicalized, so you have to make decisions where to place different components. These decisions also impact the following gameplay, be it navigating the ship in such a way that you can have all the weapons on one broadside while the other side of the ship contains the other crucial components. Or managing the energy consumption of various components and running on higher energy consumption to keep various system active while frantically keeping fuses, valves and alignments in order to keep the ship online. As someone that really enjoys that kind of engineer gameplay I can really recommend the game with the right friends and believe other games should take a little inspiration from Void Crew! (Looking at you Star Citizen and Jump Space)
I have been playing since a week after initial release. I've tried solo and team play, all four roles to a relatively decent level of proficiency, and pretty much done everything. Compared to Jump Ship aka Jump Space, there's inevitably going to be comparisons, and while they're in the same class of game, they play differently. Good: + There's not much like it at the moment. + Certain weapon systems are mildly engaging and satisfying to use. + The ship interaction is relatively acceptable, for all four classes in some capacity. Bad: - This game has been buggy, unpolished, inefficient, error-prone since Early Access. Early Access issues can be handwaved away, but past 1.0 release I'm not so sure. I like to tell people, that you can tell you're playing Void Crew because something is broken somewhere. Ugly: -- There is a very high likelihood that this game will never realize its full potential, and will not be well optimized to run on older machines smoothly. You could very easily point at the hours I've played and the achievements to say, "well, did you get your money's worth out of it?" And I would be forced to acknowledge, yes, I did. But I wouldn't recommend it to anybody else.
what the game lacks in variety it makes up for in fun co-op ship handling. Running a vessel with friends is a great weekend romp that's fairly easy to get into and doesn't stress any one person's job - provided you brought enough crew to handle the ship. I recommend it if you and 3-5 others are looking for a neat space romp that isn't as motion-sickness prone as Jump Space. That said, I'd like to see more variety in missions, particularly in EVA's. There's not much use for the Scavenger class, which tends to get swapped out as soon as any EVA's are finished. And while the enemies can be difficult in certain situations, for the most part me and my crew found them all to be a cakewalk in just a few jumps.
Void Crew is one of the rare games that truly embraces cooperation.
Games where players take on specialized roles, where different actions must happen simultaneously, and where specialization provides a real advantage are uncommon — and Void Crew nails this formula. You can choose between four careers, each offering incremental bonuses as you progress: Pilot, Gunner, Engineer, and Scavenger.

Pilot does exactly what you’d expect — and does it well. With the “Absolute Shield,” the pilot maneuvers the ship to give gunners the best firing angles while dodging incoming fire and minimizing damage. The engineer will be grateful. Gunner is a demanding role. It alternates between long stretches of calm preparation, where the role feels secondary, and intense combat where precision aiming, ammo management, and quick reactions to the pilot’s maneuvers are critical. Engineer is essential to the crew’s survival. They charge boosters to help the pilot dodge, monitor ammo reserves to keep the guns firing, restock supplies for modules like the shield (batteries) or point defense (bullets), and manage energy output. Engineers are also the best at overclocking modules, squeezing extra power from generators when boosted. Scavenger is often underrated. While any Ectype (the player avatars) can use a jetpack, the Scavenger excels: faster movement, sharper turns, frequent booster use, a grappling hook, and resistance to the cold and vacuum of space. They can even throw objects farther than anyone else. Since most missions are time-limited, their speed is invaluable for EVA tasks. Beyond that, all crew members share responsibilities like emptying the Gravity Scoop, extinguishing fires, or repairing the hull. You can’t expect a single engineer to handle everything — teamwork is non-negotiable.

You can prepare up to four builds. As you level your Ectype, you earn career points to spend across four skill trees. By level 30, you’ll have one tree fully unlocked and extra points to branch into another. Mixing and “multiclassing” is entirely possible. What’s brilliant is the ship’s onboard screen that lets you swap builds mid-mission. Imagine: you’re a gunner during combat, then the pilot announces you’re approaching a derelict ship. Instead of fighting, you need to scavenge. The engineer is busy with repairs, so you dash to the screen, switch to your Scavenger build, grab your jetpack, explore the wreck, send loot to the Gravity Scoop, then return, swap back to Gunner, and resume your duties. Missions last anywhere from 5 to 30 minutes depending on difficulty, random wrecks or containers, and your crew’s experience. Other fun gameplay elements include: * Selecting relics to grant unique bonuses. * Choosing the best ship for the job (the scout is a favorite). * Mastering three distinct ships, each with very different layouts.

Of course, it’s not perfect. A few issues stand out: * Stability can be shaky. Even on Windows or Xbox, crashes happen. On Linux, Radeon RDNA2/3 cards suffer a major bug that forces you to lower settings (fog, shadows) to avoid freezes. With reduced settings, you can usually play for a couple of hours uninterrupted. * Relics are wildly unbalanced. Some are incredible, others useless. Once you discover the strongest ones, you’ll likely stick to the same setup every time. * Enemy scaling can feel punishing. Eventually, foes become so destructive that a single mistake from the pilot means instant defeat. * Physics are bent for gameplay reasons: the universe has an “up” and “down,” and ships automatically reorient horizontally, so you can’t loop endlessly.

If you’re looking for a game that demands true cooperation — not just playing side by side, but filling complementary roles — Void Crew is a hidden gem on Steam. It even supports cross-platform play with a seamless code-join system. The graphics, while not groundbreaking, are stylish and backed by strong artistic direction. Highly recommended.
AI slop voice acting, and the devs seem to have NO concept of why that is bad, stating that it "Made sense creatively" That's not how it works, you cannot excuse not paying a VA for work, you can't do that. Seriously, NOT ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cool.
The soulless Homonculus voice acting really put me off, until I went back to check, hoped that the voice acting was just terrible and saw the AI disclaimer. I really can't get behind AI voice acting be it "ethical" or if "it makes sense creatively". It remains a morally gray practice, that even if "ethical" is not up to the standard of good voice acting. Especially when i try to kill myself in the tutorial for fun, and the quirky voiceline of the AI comes without any sarcasm in its voice despite the line being clearly written to be sarcastical. We have been voice acting robots and AI in media for over 40 years, let's not stop there and replace it with ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ AI voice acting. Why not, let the VA do their job, and actually voice the AI. It has worked wonderfully for characters like SHODAN, GladOS, HAL-9000 and much more. Especially when you go out of your way, replace the AI placeholders with actual voice actors, except for one for "creative reasons" that you may have understood by now, that i highly disagree with.
Today I played Void Crew with some friends. It went amazing and was fun to play pilot. The game began to throw a ton of enemies at us and ship was at 30% and were fighting like hell. Mid fight, my computer literally catches on fire, and shortly after the ship explodes. I turn off the PC. (All's good now :D) I don't think I've ever had a game go so hard my computer started spittin flames. I think everyone should play this game.
I really did enjoy playing this but did not realize it used generative AI until well after the refund window. I'll revisit it if it ever replaces the slop with actual voice acting but otherwise I can't in good conscience endorse this. "It makes sense thematically" is just a poor excuse for using the slop machine.
