Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 18 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I'm 38 years old - why am I playing and enjoying this?

Story A group of archaeologists are digging for artifacts in some rural places in China. Once you find the required number of artifact pieces, you can assemble them to recover the artifact into its original state. Each completed artifact brings you back to its history, which relates to Xi Niu, a Chinese girl who lived over a thousand years ago. Returning to the historical scene, you will play as Xi Niu, working at the paddy fields and looking for the murderer of her parents who wore a golden mask. You have to switch between present life as an archaeologist and ancient life as Xi Niu. Xi Niu later being offered as a courtesan in the palace, and she seizes this opportunity to find the murderer. Once she receives the invitation to the palace, you need to help her to increase her rank, starting from a concubine. Gameplay A rich story and beautiful background music, but the characters' movements are a bit rigid. I don't understand why the characters can't get the equipment by themselves. Every piece of equipment needs to be brought to them by Ivy (the player). Why can't the characters fetch the equipment by themselves? It's still challenging, though. Also, I would prefer the cursor on the game is bolder and bigger. It's pretty tricky to see where is the mouse cursor during the game, especially during the rainy scene. I never experienced difficulty finding a cursor in a game due to the rain. I don't know whether I should call this "realistic". The ancient scenes are more vibrant, but the tasks are more challenging. It's a massive torture when playing the mini-games, such as writing calligraphy and washing clothes on the wooden board. The dragging functionality didn't work as smoothly as it should be to perform the task. The worst thing is that some tasks require perfection to get all stars. The tasks in the present mode are easier and enjoyable, but the ancient time has a more beautiful and vibrant background, but the mini-games are intolerable. A few inconsistent dialogues include the character calling her friend Crystal and mom, the King calling the doctor "Honey", and asking about a fire where no fire happened in the story. Also, I experienced a few times of blank screens with background music and one mini-game requesting action, but nothing happened. It also doesn't allow you to exit the current screen when stuck in those situations. Towards the end of the game or the last few levels, the game seems rushed to be completed and released. Besides a few blank screens during the story scenes, the levels in ancient times were unreasonably difficult, and this came out of nowhere. The present mode slightly had more workers to deal with but was not as crazy as the ancient mode. If I remember correctly, the previous game that I played from Gamehouse - "Detective Jackie - Mystic Case"- was also developed similarly. The last few levels before the game's ending were extremely difficult than any levels before and more problematic. I would appreciate such a plot twist for the ending if the game has met the standard of strict testing for quality. As for this game, the ending made me feel I had wasted my time for nothing. Random Trivia: I watched so many ancient Chinese dramas, and I'd never seen any emperors or kings will bow to their servants and maids. Besides the emperor, anyone needs to bow to the prince. This one is like everyone bowing to each other.

Some reviewers have said this game and its many levels was longer than a lot of Gamehouse's games, and I agree with that. But I enjoyed the extra levels and the chance to unearth all the artifacts in the present time scenes and then read the cool fun facts on each one to learn a little about the Tang Dynasty. So I'm a giant nerd. So what. The game play was repetitive, the story was 100% predictable, but grandmother was so cute!
GameHouse games bring me a lot of nostalgia. I love almost all of them. And by the way.. what the hell was that ending?
