Adventures of Bertram Fiddle 2: A Bleaker Predicklement

[h3] Good fun! [/h3] Lots of good dry English humour. Definitely worth playing if you enjoy quirky point & click stories. There are some issues with the achievements. If this is important to you then I suggest having a read of the forum.

Pros - Nice colourful graphics - Good puzzle design - Great voice acting - Fun dialog with lots of puns - Interesting story - Hot spot reveal tool Cons - Lots of little visual and audio glitches such as missing animations (especially lip syncing) missing voice acting etc. - Frequent issues giving controls to the secondary character having to re-issue commands multiple times - On one occasion the UI completely broke and the game was essentially froze and I had to restart - The hotspot tool is appreciated but its very subtle, still easy to miss spots. Overall its a decent game but let down by some bugs. Still recommended.

yes it's buggy and the first game is better but I still recommend it.its a fun, specially the potion section of the game and making your own meat pet.

L'épisode 1 était juste génial, j'ai vraiment adoré l'univers et l'humour de ce jeu. Malheureusement l'épisode 2 est entaché de nombreux bugs qui vous sortent du jeu (sous titres russes dans une scène, jeu qui se bloque sans que vous puissiez plus rien faire, animations et dialogues avec parfois des bugs) et même au niveau du scénario l'épisode 2 m'a déçu même pour un jeu se voulant absurde on voit que ça été totalement bâclé. C'est dommage le jeu semble laissé à l'abandon et n'aura probablement jamais de suite. Mais je suis obligé de mettre un pouce bleu car cette série avait un immense potentiel que l'on peut voir dans l'épisode 1 bien qu'il soit très court (à peine 2 h pour l'épisode 1).

A much better game than the Episode 1. Now with proper puzzles, an enjoyable story that actually feels like something, and more puns and references. It is still not a quite perfect game, dialogues, interactions and animations constantly bug out and while it's not on the level of being in an unplayable status(at least it was fine for me to progress till the end), it can certainly be distracting enough to drop to a certain crowd. Consider the first one as a long introduction for the core characters, because that's what it is and nothing more. If you aren't particularly interested, just skip the first one altogether and only play this one, and that'll be enough. Pretty visuals, interesting characters, varying locations per chapters and plenty of word jokes, I enjoyed this game for what it is. I recommend.

While playing episode 1 I did not feel I'd recommend it. The store-page calls it a "classic point and click adventure game" but it so easy that a puzzle component is more or less absent. Not very classic. I then however played episode 2 (as realistically most anyone would) and that [i]is[/i] in fact a bona fide classic point and click adventure game. With both episodes taken together genre-fans will find quite enough to like here.
