Unsung Heroes: The Golden Mask

A really great TMG that is really different from all the TMGs i have ever played. The levels, especially the excavation ones, can get pretty tedious after a while, but the main thing in this game is the story and less the gameplay. The story and the artefacts are really cool and detailed. I hope there will be a another part with a different country, like ancient rome or greece, hopefully with better gameplay. I can really highly recommend it

If you're looking for a unique time management game, this game is for you. The archaeology levels maybe repetitive but Xi Niu's levels are definitely fun. The story is amazing as well and you'll have to play it til the end to find out.

Unsung Heroes The Golden Mask เกมจากมือถือแนว Diner Dash เราจะได้รับบทเป็น 1 ใน 3 สาวของคณะทีมขุดสำรวจโบราณสถานและวัตถุตามหาหน้ากากทองคำในประวัติศาสตร์ กระทั่งได้ค้นพบเรื่องราวของเด็กสาวชาวนานามว่า XI NIU ที่ได้ถูกทหารฝั่งตรงข้ามบุกและสังหารผู้เป็นพ่อแม่ ซึ่ง XI NIU ทำได้เพียงแค่หลบอยู่ในบ้านกับ NAI NAI เท่านั้น เริ่มต้นเกม จะมีการสอนนิดหน่อยให้ลองผิดลองถูกงงอยู่สักพัก แต่ถ้าเข้าใจแล้วก็ยิงยาวได้เลย เพราะเหมือนเดิมตลอดทั้งเกม โดยเราจะมีหน้าที่คอยดูแลลูกทีมพาไปยังจุดขุดเจาะ นำอุปกรณ์ต่าง ๆ ไปให้ หรือกระทั่งช่วยไปทำแทน ในบางครั้งก็ค้นพบและได้รับหยก หรือ เหรียญทองโดยผ่านมินิเกม เมื่อสะสมวัตถุโบราณครบ หุ่นยนต์จากสแกนและเล่าเรื่องราวที่เกิดขึ้น ผ่านตัวละครสาว XI NIU จากลูกสาวชาวนากำพร้าทำนา ผ่านการเล่นเกม แข่งกับเวลาที่จำกัด และบางฉาก ห้ามพลาดแม้แต่นิดเดียว ไหนจะต้องหาหนูที่ซ่อนอยู่ หรือกระทั่งทำเงื่อนไขต่าง ๆ เพื่อเพิ่มคะแนน ในจุดนี้ ตัวเกมจะดำเนินเรื่องราวระหว่างปัจจุบันและอดีตคู่ขนานกันไป แม้เกมจะระบบเดิม ๆ แต่มีเนื้อเรื่องของ XI NIU มาเติมเต็มได้อย่างลงตัว เพราะค่อย ๆ ได้เห็นนางไต่เต้าจากเด็กกำพร้า เข้ามาอยู่ในวัง มีเรื่องต่าง ๆ นา ๆ ทั้งดีร้ายและหักมุมครบรส ต้องบอกได้ว่า กรุณาซื้อยาคล้ายกล้ามเนื้อมาด้วย คุณจะเล่นหยุดไม่อยู่ กับ 7ชั่วโมงรวดจนนิ้วล็อก เพราะเนื้อเรื่องที่กล่าวมาข้างต้นนี่แหละ และ 7ชั่วโมงนี้ สามารถปลดล็อก Achievement 10อย่างครบ และเก็บ 3ดาว และของซ่อนได้ทุกฉาก ไม่ยากแต่ก็ไม่ได้ง่ายเกินไป ความสนุกของเกมนี้คือการได้คิดล่วงหน้า 5วินาที เพราะต้องมีความไวในการเตรียมของและจัดวาง เพื่อความพอใจของลูกทีม หรือ ให้เป็นที่ถูกใจของคนในวัง หรืออย่างอัปเกรดอุปกรณ์ขุดหรือบ่อขุดให้มีประสิทธิ์ภาพที่ดียิ่งขึ้น เพื่อขจัดอุปสรรคต่าง ๆ ในระหว่างเกมเช่น เครื่องปั่นไฟที่ต้องเติมน้ำมันบ่อย ๆ หรือตัวละครเดินช้าไป และด้วยความหลากลายของฝั่ง XI NIU มีหลายมินิเกมให้เล่นเยอะแตกต่างกันไปตามแต่ละฉาก ไม่เน่าเบื่อ สิ่งที่น่าเดียดายของเกมนี้คือเงินที่ได้มาค่อนข้างไม่มีประโยชน์ ถึงแม้ว่าจะมีให้อัปเกรดได้ก็ตาม แต่ทำออกมาได้น้อยมาก ซึ่งสวนทางกับจำนวนเงินที่ได้ และรูปแบบการเล่นของฝั่งทีมขุดจำเจมาก จุดที่ชวนหงุดหงิดง่ายคือ Cursor จะเล็กมากกกกก หากใครที่เล่นจอใหญ่ ๆ จะมองแทบไม่เห็น สีกลมกลืนไปกับฉาก เพราะตัวเกมใช้ Cursor แบบ Default ของตัว OS บ่อยครั้งที่พลาดโอกาสดี ๆ เพราะมองหา Cursor ตัวเองไม่เจอ กับอีกจุดหนึ่งคือไม่สามารถกดหยุดเกมได้ในบางครั้งซึ่งมันเกิดจาก BUG หากเราเล่นพลาดแล้วอยากเริ่มใหม่... ก็ต้องรอให้เวลาหมดจนจบเกมไปเลย โดยรวม หากเรามองข้ามข้อผิดพลาดเรื่องหยุมหยิมตรงนี้ไปบ้าง ก็ถือว่าเป็นเกมที่ดีน่าเล่นอีกเกมหนึ่งเลยทีเดียว ในราคาที่ไม่แพง 219บาท (แต่เดี๋ยวก่อน หากได้ลองหาร 7ชั่วโมง จะตกชั่วโมงละ 30บาทกว่า ก็หมดคอนเทนท์แล้ว แอบแพงเหมือนกัน) ซึ่งถ้าหากใครว่างจริง ๆ กำลังมองหาเกมเล่นแก้เบื่อ หรืออยากเก็บ Achievement แบบ Perfect สักเกม ต้องขอยกเกมนี้ให้เลย

Some reviewers have said this game and its many levels was longer than a lot of Gamehouse's games, and I agree with that. But I enjoyed the extra levels and the chance to unearth all the artifacts in the present time scenes and then read the cool fun facts on each one to learn a little about the Tang Dynasty. So I'm a giant nerd. So what. The game play was repetitive, the story was 100% predictable, but grandmother was so cute!

很多年了玩这个系列，大概几个小时就通关了，很开心啦

Einfach nur großartig gemacht! - Das Gameplay ist bewährt gut und manchmal echt herausfordernd. Der Wechsel zwischen heutiger Zeit und Vergangenheit macht das Ganze sehr abwechslungsreich. - Die Optik ist einfach nur ein Traum. Gerade die Szenen um Xi Niu sind sehr schön illustriert/animiert. - Cooles Detail am Rande: die archäologischen Schätze, die man findet, haben alle einen geschichtlichen Hintergrund. Eine Infotafel erklärt, wofür diese Gegenstände im Alltag verwendet wurden. - Die Story ist gut gemacht und wird durch die Cliffhanger noch spannender. Schön ist auch, dass die Story nicht oberflächlich daherkommt und am Ende ein paar Überraschungen zu bieten hat. Alles in Allem hat sich der Kauf des Spiels gelohnt! :)

I wanted to like this game. I'm interested in the story. However, the game feels broken. Every cut scene, someone would be holding an item and it would be upside down or floating beside their hand. I've had to restart 3 levels because there was an item that I couldn't pick up. It was like the item didn't exist. It happened on every level but sometimes after a couple seconds it would let me click on it. I just made it to the second area and I can't put up with it anymore. The levels are just getting harder and it's frustrating to have a good streak and then have to restart because an item glitches. Also, the upgrades don't scale correctly. I ended up playing each level 2-3 times in the first area to get all the artifacts and I still couldn't afford all the upgrades and I was getting all the stars and picking up the extra money artifacts. Just a very broken game.

Pro's: I really liked the story and the characters, all in their own way. It was fun to level up through earning stars once you completed a certain section of the game and I liked a lot of the mini games like writing Chinese characters, picking leaves off a tree and mixing ink Con's: A bit repetitive at times, oddly placed interactables - what I mean by that is that in the library there is an empty scroll box you are supposed to collect for a character but the box itself is almost behind the inventory box (which is way to big in my opinion) and there were other instances of something you have to interact with being almost impossible to see because it was almost completely obstructed. A couple of bugs like a missing mouse statue. Conclusion: It has its good bits and a very fun story that I felt invested in and really wanted to see how it ended. It did have a few bugs and annoying things like I pointed out in the con's section but I really liked the story as I stated before but if you get it for a good price I think it's a decent game and in the end I quite enjoyed it

The story line is much more interesting compared to similar games like Sally's Salon or the Delicious series. It's the same game play but it makes you want to continuously play just so you can find our what happens to the characters. A happy purchase. UPDATE: The ending was such a letdown. Loved playing the game but the rewards of a satisfying ending was lacking. Maybe a part two soon?!
