Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.43/day in the week to Sep 14 → 0.6/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Fun Civil War game. I mainly just played it for the historical battles and not the campaign. Relatively easy and simple to play while still feeling engaging and era-appropriate.
just got this game and it absolutely sucks you cannot ever win at any level or any rank you will always loose i would like to get my money back some how even when you occupy the specific objectives it will tell you that you lost when you set up your army the opposing team will have more men more guns more cavalry and more money you will never ever win

教程关就这么难,我他妈买了半年了连教程都没过,我他妈的是傻逼弱智吗?
Challenging game until you work out the rules and the mechanics and how they affect the game further down the track.
Great simulation - real weapons, great real time game play
Some of the mechanics are confusing and annoying but god I love this game
This is the greatest in a very niche area of games. Real time strategy and tactics war games set during the civil war? Not common. However, even if they were, Ultimate General would still blow them away. It has it's issues, sure, but on the whole it is a superb game which allows players to place themselves in a (mostly) historically accurate campaign, lead accurately sized armies unlike some other RTS games (cough cough total war cough cough), and ultimately win the war. In fact, probably the least realistic part is that you could win every battle and the war would still last until 1865, but where would the fun be if you won the war after Bull Run as the Union?
"Where cotton's king and men are chattels, Union boys will win the battles!"
Wow this game is bad. Its like cheap indie bad. The level of strategy reminds me old north and south. Unit models and their animation look similar... I will take my refund and doubt I will look at this studio again. - No UI scaling - graphics are comically bad - unit movement is just bad, enemy infantry outrunning cavalry - whats the point of ability to buy new regiments if you have cap on what you can deploy? - canons are pointless - units ai is terrible, you give order and they do something completely opposite
Excellent fun game that provides a good challenge whilst not being too hard for beginners
