If you enjoy linear games with simple looting and upgrading gameplay, have fun with this game! The story is intriguing and I've stayed up way into the night because I'm eager to get to the next area. There are also unlockable pathways for an undiscovered second playthrough. This game makes me reminisce on my ye olde Bioshock days <3

combat and art style are pretty good but story was kinda mid.
It holds it's influence to BioShock so high that the entire entrance to the Twisted Tower is almost shot for shot. The enemies were interesting in their design, both visual and sound. However, their aim made it hard to dodge around. Until the end of the game were my biggest enemy was falling to my death. The biggest draw to this game is the presentation. It oozes personality (even though it is clearly trying to be CircusShock). I don't consider the comparison to be a bad thing. I only wish it was closer to Bioshock in the sense of the exploration. This game is very linear. The story was good up until the end at the big reveal where I was in not anyway a surprise. Overall, I think this is worth the full price if you're interested in a short curated experience through something unique at the least. The game oozes personality through the guns, enemies, and the level design. There are draw backs for sure. But for the price of a ticket to the movies. I don't think it's bad at all.
I was trying to navigate my way through this game but the tower was pretty twisted, would recommend a maintenance crew to fix this. Had some humanoid mascots attack me shortly after I arrived, I'm just looking for my wife so I don't get what their problem is but oh well, I murdered them!
Neat little game, got some areas where you can just outright exploit certain mechanics to get where you shouldn't be which is a nice touch to games like this. It reminded me of Bioshock when it comes aesthetics for some reason. Breaking down story and gameplay: Story: The story is quite straightforward where the twist is exposed partly then completely at the halfway and final point in the game. I won't spoil it here but the story was just alright in my eyes. I get what its supposed to be and how it is portrayed line up but it didn't really leave an impact on me. Whether its because of the story itself or my inability to get into certain stories when there is gunplay to be had is kinda up in the air. I felt a similar way about Bioshock Infinite's story. Its there, I understand it, I just feel like it doesn't get portrayed well enough. Gameplay: Its reminiscent of Bioshock 1 (without Plasmids) in the sense that It your guns cannot be aimed down and you are more or less hipfiring everything. The Story's environments make for a fun shooting gallery and its a decent run and gun romp. If you die you get sent back to the previous autosave checkpoint with full health. This makes playing through the game significantly more bearable on the Twisted difficulty I was on. Since health pickups are a bit weird in this game and are a point to be improved on. As it stand you can pickup snacks (the game's healing items in the form of carnival snack foods: Hotdogs, Pies, Soda, etcetera) and hold up to 10 at a time to give you about 5-10% of your max hp back per use. A decent healing setup but the amount you find isn't good on higher difficulties and I've found you get progressively less as time goes on. A normal concept in most games but I find it doesn't work out well when you don't have a methods of finding enemies in the map before getting shot like a radar, minimap, or something like that. The only cue you get is the sound they make and sometimes its not that obvious. Heck in some area's where you are forced into a gun fight enemies will literally spawn in beside you making it a bit unfair since you won't be able to react in time before they land a hit. Thankfully the game has good enemy variety given the size of the game. However, the hitboxes can be a bit wonky so what looks to you as a headshot may not register as such. If I were to make a suggestion to the Devs It would be to make the enemies spawn a bit further or add a little on screen indicator if they are about to spawn within close proximity or just make a proximity alert if they are beside or behind you in close proximity. Thematically it would be difficult to explain but it would make gameplay more bearable with enemies just apparating from a random puff of smoke as they spawn in. Overall its a neat little indie game that justifies its price. There are points to be improved on in story and gameplay but for what it is and presumably for the small budget it has its a decent time.
story is okay, a little predictable. gameplay is good, if nothing innovative. as someone who frequently gets lost in stories because i forget names easily, i liked the names being highlighted different colors in the dialogue. it actually helped me lol. idk, its not too expensive and its pretty decent so, sure i'll recommend it.
short but sweet throwback to those games i used to play many years ago c:
Game was fun, good experience for the right price. Campaign is roughly 4- 4 1/2 hrs, and it doesn't overstay its welcome, and i was content when it was over. No bugs, no crashes, gameplay was solid between gunplay and platforming. Enemy encounters offered a bit of a challenge time to time but overall relatively easy to get through.
Twisted Tower is a short and sweet experience. It's mostly about the atmosphere as the level design and gun play is rather average at best. There's a lot of fun gun variety in here as well as some good enemy variety considering how short the game is. I beat it in under 4 hours on my first play through. I don't think it's as great as others seem to be saying it is but the price is right for a short and enjoyable ride. It has a Bioshock type creepy atmosphere set in a demented fun house with a pretty good story. I don't think it's a must play but if it looks interesting enough to you, I think you'll enjoy it.
