Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 21 → 1.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I have over 1000 hours on this game and I nerd about it so trust me when I say just don't bother. It had its peaks after launch, the Mello update and the X-Kira update. And those were the only times the game offered some fun and novelty. It's meant to be played with voice chat but people are toxic (and there's a reason text chat has flood measures which VC can never have), a missing anti-cheat makes the community already play a meta social deduction game of "Who's The Cheater?" that makes lobbies even more hostile (you couldn't join any games from PC during the great depression), the game being fundamentally different than Among Us requires almost all players to be semi competent which they never are, combined with balance being completely missing because its up to god-knows-whom host's feelings. Overall the idea is very good, but the execution is awful. If it had an actual team, not even team a single developer, and if it was cheaper or free, the game would be somewhat playable. If you buy now, you'll likely be crushed by the seasoned players, lose countless games because you got unlucky, fail to find any lobbies and inevitably fail to have fun. But if you can handle the game being dead and have the verbal capacity to be vile, feel free to try.

This game has so much great potential but it is weighed heavily down by hackers. If you have a private friend group, the game is extremely fun but hackers are ruining everything. A hacker went into my Block List and removed everyone from it and then deleted me off my Friend's Friends Lists. Bandai does not care whatsoever about this game or the players still trying to play it. Save your money and move on because this game is drowning in cheating and hacking.
This game was the first game I've ever bought in my life. It was my favorite game back then. I met many people playing that game, which are my friends till today. A game based on one of my favourite anime of all time? A game that is strategic, multiplayer, among us like? The idea of it was thrilling. Yeah, that's what I wanted. I used to play with my friends every single day, despite the time zones. We had fun. The concept of it was actually smart, and I think that was the best fit for the specific anime. One thing I didn't like with that game was the fact that were many hackers, to the point they would assume I'm a hacker for not having a mic or just because I played from my pc. There were many racists, sexists, and all of kinds of people. They took the game seriously, even though that was not the point of it, as a result ruining the fun. It seemed like the company was mostly after our money and not actually to be able to make it user friendly or help us with the hackers. People stopped playing that game mostly for the hackers. I opened it recently and a few months ago to play. There was no one online. No groups, nothing. Despite the server. Wasted 10€ for nothing. I do NOT recommend that game to anyone. If you see my review and want to play that game, it would be nice just to have a little fun.
best social deduction game of all time. sadly abandoned still worth playing with friends over any other game like it
不明白为什么L和夜神月这对给子能出游戏,而且他们居然还没有亲嘴太让人失望了
THIS GAME IS dead sadly
this game is pretty fun, sadly, there are no longer public lobbies, the game has been left abandoned and it is practically unplayable unless you hae friends to do so, it is really a shame
Игра мертва
I honestly forgot I bought and played this game on launch. TLDR: This game should be delisted because it's a scam, don't buy this. I never liked Among Us, I thought it was a boring experience especially when dealing with people who don't even understand what they're supposed to be doing. The only reason I've played this game is because it's Death Note and the concept was mildly interesting. When the leaks came, I knew what was about to happen: KW would slowly release all this leaked content behind multiple battle passes, then stop updating. Spoiler: I was right all along. The only time Killer Within was any fun was at the very beginning when it was just L against Kira. Unfortunately the core concept itself was just broken and unfun anyway: - Kira was blatantly busted because stealing IDs and killing was so easy, L could have the misfortune of spawning with Kira and dying in the next 5 seconds. Match over instantly; - Investigation Team was also blatantly busted if the people actually worked together and abused the mechanics to force everyone to stick together, making sure Kira and his Follower could never steal IDs without being immediately discovered; - Stealing IDs was wildly inconsistent, there were a lot of times where I died even though nobody approached me at all. Every update after that just broke the balance even further and I believe Investigation Team is so insanely busted now that playing Kira is torture, but I wouldn't know because I stopped playing after Mello was released. The community is also very hostile and kicks out everyone who doesn't belong to their little Discord group, so essentially you can't play the game because other people won't let you. [strike] People ruining everything? What a shocker. [/strike] So let's wrap it up: - Balance doesn't exist whatsoever, core mechanics are broken and don't function properly; - Devs never cared in the first place, they just wanted your money since the content was always there from release (as the leaks revealed); - The community is very unfriendly and won't let you play, so you can't play the game even if you wanted to. Just leave Death Note alone at this point. Let it die in peace instead of doing cashgrabs.
Great game based on a great show. However it has been criminally abandoned by its developers who haven't posted any updates or even any communication in several months. No one plays it online and the very few public lobbies left are full of hackers. I like this game as I think it scratches that Among Us itch with a lot more bells and whistles, interesting different tactics and a cool theme. However I can only recommend it if you have enough friends to play it with in a private lobby. If they improve the games security and actually do more than one update a year, then I'll change it to a thumbs up.
