Twisted Tower

An Indie Bioshock and a short one but hey it’s good for the price. Also plot twist at the end of the game is one of the things I didn’t see coming (ending cutscene). I feel like if it was an 8h+ game with AA budget it would be more awesome but still worth it. If I had to give a con is that some weapons doesn’t have a right click variant and most of them you will not use cause there is plenty of ammo. 8/10 will probably play again.

Just finished my first playthrough, i really like the game. The shooting, the melee, and the movement it felt good. The art of this game is also amazing, one thing that i like is an option for aim toggle, because the slingshot is a toggle aim, not hold down aim, which i need a bit of time to adjust because i usually do a hold down aim

Twisted Tower absolutely nails its visuals and atmosphere, and I had a lot of fun with the jump scares and general horror presentation across my roughly five hours with it. I was disappointed by the lack of bosses, the upgrades being focused mainly around traversal and some frustrating ammo scarcity towards the end, while the cliffhanger ending definitely left me wanting more resolution. Despite those frustrations, the atmosphere carried the experience for me and there’s enough here that I’m glad I played it.

Its a great Bioshock-lite, does it take a little too much from it and add very little of its own? Perhaps. For the price, this is a great little pick up for fans of Bioshock, especially as with most of these type of fan tribute games, there are almost no games like Bioshock being made lately.
