Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 29: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.11/day in the week to Aug 4 → 1.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

TRIANGLE STRATEGY is a tactical RPG developed by Artdink and published by Square Enix, following the legacy of classics like Final Fantasy Tactics and Tactics Ogre. It combines grid-based strategy combat with a complex, choice-driven political narrative set in the war-torn continent of Norzelia. The game’s strength lies in its layered decision-making, both on and off the battlefield. Combat is deliberate and methodical. Positioning, terrain elevation, and unit synergy are critical. Each character has fixed abilities and roles—archers excel at height advantage, mages manipulate terrain with elemental magic, and melee fighters control space. The balance between offense, defense, and support creates a consistent tactical rhythm. Mistakes are costly but fair, encouraging planning over improvisation. Outside battle, the “Scales of Conviction” system defines the story’s branching structure. Key decisions are voted on by party members, and persuasion determines outcomes. These choices affect alliances, character recruitment, and even major story routes. The moral ambiguity of war and governance is central, avoiding simplistic good-versus-evil framing. Visually, TRIANGLE STRATEGY employs the “HD-2D” style—pixel art characters on 3D environments with cinematic lighting. It’s visually distinct, combining nostalgia with modern polish. The orchestral soundtrack reinforces tension and gravitas, shifting seamlessly between calm diplomacy and large-scale warfare. Narratively, it’s dense and politically charged. Dialogue-heavy sections slow the pace, but they enrich the world’s lore and ethical complexity. The writing aims for mature realism—decisions carry real weight, often with no ideal outcome. Voice acting and localization are solid, though some scenes lean verbose. Overall, TRIANGLE STRATEGY is a precise, intellectually driven tactics game. It values foresight, consistency, and moral complexity over spectacle. A standout title for players who enjoy strategy depth and narrative consequence in equal measure.
Not as good as Fire Emblem, but definetly worth purchasing if you're a fan of the series. It's much better than the likes of Final Fantasy Tactics, as all your characters are unique as opposed to randomly generated. Just a shame we'll probably not get a sequel.
I love these kinds of games, and I really wanted to like this one. The graphics are great, the gameplay is fun, I love the sprites, the music, the plot the atmosphere. The only problem is the the underlying conviction system. When I play an RPG, I want the Role Playing Part to be included. As the player I am supposed to be able to make choices and see how they affect the game. However, in this game you have a hidden system that raises your "Convictions". Keep in mind there is no indication of which convictions are being raised, and which onces correspond to what choices. Whenever you face an important decision in the game, that effects the story and what path your character and their faction take, you "test the scales of conviction". What this means is the that the NPC characters that make up your faction give you a few options as to what path you and the faction should take, and then you (who is supposed to be the leader) are supposed to decide. Accept you do not decide. You have to try to convice the NPC's to vote with you on what path to take. What they have decided they wanted to do is determined by their convictions (A hidden stat and mechancic that you cannot see), and your ability to convice them is dependant on you Convictions, and relationship and how much they agree with you on the course of action. This sounds neat. However, the game doesn't tell you how to raise or lower your convictions, or what impact any of your choices have on your or your parties convictions. So in practice you are left trying to convice the computer to let you choose what you want, and you do not have any sure way to actually be able to convice them reliably, you just have to hope you have raised the right conviction that means that they will go on. As a person who loves RPG;s, it is so frustrating. It actually ruined the entire game for me. It came to a breaking point for me. It is frustrating when it seems like the game activly tries to undermine your agency and choices as the player character. Early in the game I managed to convice everyone to take a course of action. Then as it unfolds one the main characters (who supposedly is trusting you and following) decides that he and another character will just take an action that completely subverts the entire decision you made and makes your character look like he betrayed the cause you choose to fight for. The main character has no reaction to it at all. So two of you key allies decided on their own that they will subvert everything the player decided and meh whatever. The game breaker came when you are told that the game is coming to a key choice, it will shape everything you save. Then no matter what choice I try to make no matter what options I use to convice or discuss with the group the decision goes in the path I hate the most. (♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ BENEDICT). I have finished all quests, side quests, conversatiion, leveled the whole party, maxed everything I can to max convictions and relationships, and no matter what I choose, what I try the game decideds we are doing what ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ BENEDICT wants. Forget that it is the option that is most against everything the party has done up till now, forget that it is the farthest away from the plan that any of the other characters say they want, and forget the fact that it is the polar oposit of what I the playere wants to choose. The convictions system decided that this is what the choice is. It literally made me quit the game. The conviction system lieterally made me not want to finisht he game. I have no interest in the a role playing game that takes away my agency, and subverts my choices at everystep. If there is no choice then do not give me one, just make a good story with choices. Don't clainm to make the player the main character, and the leader who makes choice and then minimize, subvert and straight up railroad away those choices. That one system ruined the whole game. If you do not care about the role playing part of RPG's, and you want a game that you can literally just skip through you choices for then its a great game. But if you want a story with real choice and consequences where you feel the wieght of your decisions, you should probably look else where. Triangle Strategy Unforunately goes on the list of great game, that I want to love, but its central flaw means that I will never ever have any desire to finish. A cautionary tail about how a game design decision undermined and ultimately destroyed what just could have been an amazing game for at least one person who really wanted to love it.
Voice acting is trash. 20 min (feels like) of boring story between battles. What made me quit is you have to convince party members to make the choice you the player want. if your morality is not high enough you don't get to make your own choice.
