Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 14 → 0.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
A lot of people hate on this game, but I have to say I enjoyed it a lot. Yes, it's not Planescape: Torment 2, but I still found the story interesting as well as characters you meet (although a lot/most of them are kind of shallow). And what I especially liked is the world, which is such a novel and full of unseen and crazy stuff. This novelty and crazyness was what kept me playing even when there were some not-so-exciting parts of the game gameplay wise. Would I recommend it to everyone? No. Would I recommend it to general party based RPG fans? Yes. Would I recommend it to bookworms? Hell yeah. Would I recommend it to hardcore Planescape Torment fans? Still yes, but don't expect direct sequel and take it as a "game inspired by our beloved".

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 11: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I wrote a VERY long review about this game, but Steam doesn't like long reviews, so the tl:dr; version is all you get. Blame steam if you want, idfc: I backed this game back in 2013. I backed 135 dollars for this game to support the vision of a spiritual Planescape: Torment successor. What should I say: Its not a spiritual successor at all. This game REALLY wants to be sprititual Planescape: Torment successor though. But it failed doing so in almost every aspect, if you ask me. Ultimatively I really dont liked the overall game experience. Its full of unnecessary, meaningless and boring text and bloated dialogs, that you can not care less about. Same goes for 90% of the characters. As much as it hurts me to say/write this. It has some good ideas and some really interesting game mechanics, but I was bored by the content of this game most of the time. Play Disco Elysium, if you want a real spiritual successor to Planescape: Torment!
T:ToN is what it is, a philosophical RPG that follows the ideas and style of Planescape: Torment. If you played the original and loved it, as many people do, you might as well play this one and make up your mind about this game. Speaking from a personal level, I love to see traditional RPG with actual good writings making a comeback. This game scratches the itch left from playing P:T many years ago, despite how fragmented it is compared to the original -- and I look forward to more games that explore similar themes.
Do you want to read a book or play a game? If the former, this is definitely for you. If the latter, approach with caution.
I actually bought this ages ago, but my 10 year old macbook couldn't really run it. Finally able to play it, and so far it's great. I can't get enough of this style of writing heavy RPG. If you loved BG 1-2, and obviously Planescape Torment, you absolutely need to play this.
Very intense and solid game
If you come expecting a real sequel to planescape torment you will have a bad time. The game feels like it was rushed out the door without with lots of missing content. Companions are hardly fleshed out, there is a lot of background lore but you don't actually get to see it. It feels like they just pushed a lot of lore dialogue into random NPCs so they could brag how lore rich this game is. Plot threads end abruptly in lines like 'yes too much happened, I won't go into it' in many parts of the game. There's still very noticeable bugs that never got fixed, like sticky popup texts not going away. Combat is very very basic
The game is best when it is not trying to be Planescape Torment 2 but rather tells its own story. I played this right after finishing Planescape Torment. I felt a little dissapointment/adjustment at first, but as I played the game I started to appreciate it for itself and what it does well. I liked the skill checks system, and the crisis system. The companions are okay, but not as memorable as any of the companions from Planescape. Overall I recommend the game to any RPG fan who doesn't mind a lot of reading.
