Prices

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

BEWARE: multiplayer is broken. The game is semi-abandonware, so it's functionally singleplayer-only. Meh. Torchlight III is a serviceable but forgettable Diablo-like. The story is negligible, which would be fine except the campaign is incredibly easy: none of the enemies require any more strategy then holding down the shoot button while dodging occasionally. Even the bosses add only some trivial new feature like charging or attacking an area, but with heavy telegraphing they're easy to avoid. Perhaps it was calibrated for consoles, and using a mouse makes a big difference. Having almost completed the game in 30 hours, I don't have any interest in trying again with another class or a higher difficulty. Gear isn't very interesting. Some weapons inflict electricity, fire, or poison damage instead of physical, and some armor protects from elements, but that's about it. X points of armor or Y points of evade? Collect sets for extra bonuses? It hardly matters when you can beat the game with no gear at all. You have a fort, which you can customize. However, it's almost entirely cosmetic; there are only a handful of functional buildings, and most of those are used only to unlock more cosmetic buildings! Apparently there's enchanting, but it's not unlocked until the very end of the game, so I can't speak to it. About the best thing I can say is that it looks pretty. Also, the pets are cute, and the unique feature of the Torchlight series - your ability to dispatch pets back to town to sell excess gear - is appreciated.

It will never be as iconic as TL II for me, but it's still a fun game. I've played it through a couple of times and I still don't know what the story is - that's how poorly the narrative is constructed. In contrast, the story of TL II still lives rent free in my brain. That said, the fun is still there. They've managed to create interesting classes and it still feels pretty darn amazing to hack and slash your way through. That is why I recommend it. It's an okay attempt at recreating mastery.
Don't. Just buy TL2 instead.

It's even more boring than Diablo 4, which is saying something.
It's no where close to Torchlight 2 in anyway at all. The talent tree is minimal to say the least and difficult to understand. The harvesting isn't needed for anything really useful. The graphics are dark and underscored. I'm glad I didn't spend full price for the game or I would have been even more disappointed. I think you can see where I'm headed here
I had my fun with it but the missed potential is sad. Only buy in sale.
Major step down in every way that matters from it's predecessors. Save your money and just get TL1 and 2.
