Needs a sequel. The core gameplay is really fun, and the loop could keep players in longer if it didn't get stale after about 60 hours. Totally worth the full price. Great for nights where you only have about 20/30 mins and want to "complete" something without hyping yourself up again like Hades or Megabonk.
I knew was going to buy this after about 30 seconds of demo, and it hasn't disappointed me at all. Great stuff. Definitely my favorite game of the year, and probably the last few years. Getting that last achievement is a pretty big grind, so I'm no longer playing this to the exclusion of other games, but I'll keep coming back and grinding away at it now and then.
Fun and creative rougelike. Enchantments are really cool and add a good layer of depth to a lot of tiles, and there is a sizeable number of tiles. Satisfying to play as well as being strategic.
Easy to pick up, hard to put down. Highly addictive gameplay loop.
Amazing rogue game. Really forces you to strategize and use your brain. Further in the game one mistake can cost your whole run. Music, and vibe are awesome. 10/10
INCREDIBLE roguelike that's perfect for chilling on the steam deck or even a second screen. Feels good to chain some schizophrenic chain of attacks and clear a room, and never feels unearned when you choke and get yourself juggled.
Simple and boring math game. Not sure what the hype is about. Maybe because the bar is so low these days.
One of the most underrated roguelikes ever , have over 40hours on switch and its a blast everytime i play .
this game is fun but i puchased a 20 coin upgrade before saving and quiting only to come back to the game 5 mins later to see my coins were gone and my tile hadn't been upgraded i finished the run but i was still bummed it was my farthest run so far.
✅ Fun gameplay ✅ Strategic turn-based combat ✅ Very challenging rogue-like game ✅ Charming artystyle ✅ Highly replayable with a lot of unlockables ❌ Mistakes are very punishing - needed a rewind/undo move turn system ❌ Can't see detail of enemy tile
