SLUDGE LIFE is a first-person / open-world / vandalism-centric stroll through a polluted island full of cranky idiots and a vibe so thick you can taste it.

Sludge Life is a first-person platformer exploration game where you tag surfaces with graffiti, sometimes in hard-to-reach places, and talk to a bunch of more-or-less weird characters. Scoping out potential spots and getting close enough to tag was fun for me. Some were quite easy, others more challenging but nothing extreme. Encountering new characters and chatting them up was enjoyable and amusing, even more so since almost all of them had several replies. I liked the old-school Windows 3.1 interface in the main menu and the optional to-do activities. The game looked ugly in terms of colors, grime and sky, but it was supposed to be considering it's in slums and heavily-polluted areas. Turning off the VHS filter helped a lot in making it more palatable. I even found the characters themselves somewhat ugly, but they did have a unique urban style. Even though the graffiti repeat, I quite liked their designs. Most of all, Sludge Life had a chill vibe, street attitude and irreverence that strangely appealed to me. It took me around 4 hours to complete getting all 3 endings, but it could be much less depending on how much you do. This game is a case of don't judge a "book" by its cover. It was appreciated enough to warrant a sequel, and it's one I'd really like to play.
never thought i would be able to immerse myself in a world filled with unlimited beer and ciggies. the wavy music, funky art style, and quirky character interactions keeps the momentum going. a delightful and gross adventure that pleases any aspiring delinquent.
Game Complexity: A funny small open world to explore. Game Difficulty: There is no purpose in this game except of its exploration and the achievements. Achievements Complexity: Find the collectables, complete all the endings and do some extra actions. Achievements Difficulty: It takes some time to complete them but you can read guides to complete them faster.
First I was confused about this game when I first started to play it, turned out it was quiet an interesting game. I liked the characters and the music.
Кайфовая, гангста-стильная и ненапряжная игра на 1-2 вечера. Вторая часть тоже отличная. Жду третью!
Jogo muito divertido

At first (first 4-5 minute) it looked nyehh. Then I fell in love with the ambient/vibe,the goal/gameplay and the characters. The jokes were funny. Felt like a kid again ,without stress and all the time in the wolrd to do useless things and waste time like I live for an eternity. I don't know what genre is this, but I recommend it to everyone.
