A unique system that sets itself apart from other racing games.
In battles where drivers clash by reducing “Spirit Points,” a numerical measure of mental strength, speed alone is not enough to secure victory.
Strategy is required to wear down your opponent’s Spirit Points — an experience where only the rules for winning matter.
Over 30 officially licensed manufacturers are featured, including real-world vehicles and aero parts.
Enjoy the thrill of speed on faithfully recreated courses of the Shuto Expressway.

Enhance performance through tuning and refine driving feel with detailed settings to create your ultimate machine.

A world where over 450 rivals clash in pursuit of supremacy.
Even those battling for the top reveal their true selves during moments of respite at parking areas.
Souls driven by the desire to be “the fastest” are drawn together, sometimes colliding as they create their own rhythm.

ECCEZIONALE per gli appassionati
Fantastic game, straight to the point and doesn't try to cater to too many different audiences at once. A must play for JDM fans or car enthusiasts in general. Put your favourite playlist on and cruise along the Bayshore line...
This game is so refreshing, im tired of forza or modern nfs games because i feel like they were not aimed for me but this game is something diffrent, you have perk tree a lot of rivals big library of cars from classics to japanese only versions, i hope we get some update or dlc with german cars, the same goes to soundtrack i would prefer something similiar to nightrunners but thats just me anyway game is worth buying if you want try something new then why not?
근래 한 레이싱 게임중에 제일 본질에 충실하고 재미있어요
Now this is tokyo xtreme racing :D
good but limited car selection and sometimes rubberbanding AI
Revive Tokio Xtreme Racer!!!!
good jokes aside, I never played TXR or Shutokou Battle before I got this game. I'm very interested in going back and playing TXR0 on the PS2 as my next PS2 game to play, and that's saying a lot. All in all I really like this game, the music is fun and the graphics are super pretty, I really like how the controls feel and its super fun how realistic (I think; I've never driven on it in person) it portrays the Wangan. if you're a weebracer or just like racing games I think this is a good choice to pick. Genki knows what they're doing for sure. the rpg-like progression mechanics are also super fun but entirely optional if you don't wish to engage with them.
Classic TXR with modern graphics and feel, relax and grind
26 Hour Edit: This might be one of my favorite racing games of all time. I love this game. Review after 6 hours: Addicting gameplay loop. For those wondering, this is technically an "open world" game, but its ONLY the highway. Granted, the highway system is absolutely massive, so it is quite a big map. You basically free roam on the highway and find "rivals" to battle in dig-esque races. You can also challenge ANY random civilian to a race for cash as well. I've had a regular subbie absolutely destroy my first car lol It is a bit of a "grind" but grinding in this game is RACING. Which is what we're here for anyway! Definitely recommend on sale. I think this game would benefit from having an online mode where say up to 12 people can be driving around on the highway the same way we do in singleplayer, but with the option to cruise together or race each other. 9/10 game for JDM and car enthusiasts
