I've spent more time in this game than Forza Horizon 5. It's absolutely fantastic. There's no intrusive anti-cheat, no obligatory sign-up, no microtransactions, no clunky 3rd party launcher, no online requirements whatsoever, it's just a perfectly executed single player experience reminiscent of the PS2 era in the best way possible. It's just fun. I have an older PC with an Nvidia 1660ti graphics card and my fan barely kicks in if at all on the lowest settings. It still looks great too. Absolutely buy this 10 out of 10 it's a return to form of what gaming once was. It's so refreshing.

Great nostalgia game. Reminds me of the PS2 versions of this series. If you like arcade style racing, this game is for you.

Great spiritual revival to the franchise after 20 years. I feel like it resembles the original games with modern elements added to it. Amazing job from Genki.

Deceptively simple, brilliantly addictive

first and foremost i have to say I AM NOW A NEW FAN. this is my first txr game that ive played and by all things great its really damned good despite some flaws i noticed and some nitpicks i have. ill list down the stuff i found both good and bad in the game. btw i made it past stage 6 without ng+ THE GOOD: The game is a very polished and solid arcade racer. the physics can be goofy but you can quickly get over it with how sweaty the racing can get, i guess there's room of improvement for that especially on the braking end but ill let it pass, also the file size of the game is only 10 plus gig THE LIVERY EDITOR HAS SO MANY GOOD ASSETS, from FLAMES, MECHAS,ANIME GIRLS, FICTIONAL IN WORLD BRANDS THAT DONT LOOK ASS you can do so much even if the game doesnt have 3d for its livery editor. NEONS ARE FREE WITH UNIQUE VARIANTS, same goes for paint the auras are straight outta wangan maxi tune and they are absolutely cool even if i cant see through snake eyes and revenge eyes aura(i want to use the close cam with it though but i cant see) i became a mentally stronger racer fighting the late game rivals. those guys do not waffle around. read the flaws and nitpicks section for that. the tachometer has arrangement setups in options, its so cool with extra options on NEW GAME PLUS IN A RACING GAME. its such a rarity even for both old and new racing games as most games make you do it all back even though there are moments i just want to use my current cars . i still have to hop into ng+ too THE FLAWS AND NITPICKS: I cant read the license plates : i know skill issue but i would like it to be translated to save time looking up the wikis and threads online rivals have some custom options we dont have like colored nitro and backfire or widebody fenders: i would like those eventually thanks rivals can outcorner you in a silly way: its more of a minor complaint to me but what makes it a problem is my point below you cant complete stage 6 on your stage 5 hero car due to power differences: you can make it past stage 5 with any car you relatively want but accomplishing stage 6 raw is a marathon. you just have to take it step by step. i dont mind having to fight wanderers with their car requirements but what i do complain about is the power difference of their cars versus yours especially against the wanderers who are known for just being stupid fast. at a certain point i had to bow to one of the meta cars. personally i made it a habit of avoiding easy to use meta cars as much as possible in racers. the track strategy can only go so far when your opponent literally has 300 or more horses than you i would say the say the rubicon threshold to upgrade would be revenge eyes as i was able to fight the records by tuning the NSX type S 92, it was a bloody conflict as i had to take like 10 to 20 plus losses depending on the record boss but revenge eyes acceleration was just so stupid fast with the power he has on that supra the NSX 92 held no chance. There's the engine swap and that's the purpose of it is to give the weaker cars more power, sure it makes sense especially on certain vehicles like a kei car or the trucks and wagons. but im kind of a purist on the engine part especially for cars that can reach north of 1000ps irl with their own engines. so i would like to suggest having more tuning parts past stage 8 for those cars, but make me earn them. heck make beating the records an unlock requirement if you have to. i would just like to have more options for racing faster without relying too much on the meta or engine swapping. CONCLUSION: Overall i like this game i like you genki and i look forward to what comes to this game and franchise. i am willing to support your expansions, merch and dlc for this game cause i sure would like to drive american and euro in the wangan. more custom options too like the nitro color and wide bodykits and uhhhh i would like to get a diecast of your cars

tokyo very extreme racer good

this is a rehash of yesteryear....its 2001 all over again you've just got yourself a sweet ass dreamcast only now the cars feel proper, they no longer control like wet soap in a biffy baffy tub. ...its a heavier game than you would think though the GFX? the GFX?? ...they only look a skooch better than the dreamcast version. they uprezzed the ps2 version and bickity bam you got your self a new title. its fun....if you don't like it? well...i'm sorry.
