Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Latest in each market: best AU #63, worst JP #84 · 2 markets collected
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.71/day in the week to Aug 26 → 7/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

its STILL not possible to turn off traction control, which activates unnecessarily in straight lines and ♥♥♥♥♥ the acceleration of any car with a turbo, making you lose races against weaker cars (as npcs dont have tcs at all). its major ass to deal with and saps all the fun out of any race that it happens in. and it happens ♥♥♥♥♥♥ OFTEN, the vast majority of drainage ditches and connections between asphalt plates activate it and it ruins your chances immediately. until they fix it this game is unrecommended.
I might extend this review (more in detail or just clear examples) , but the main things that stand out: 1. It seems a Mobile game for PC 2. It seems vibe coded 3. It is extremly liniar in the sense you can' t just jump from unlocked checkpoint to the other points of interest; you can see it imitates a lot from the old NFSU, but failed to understand the necessity of spawns- `failed` is kind of calculated in my mind (a bit more in detail at the end of the review) 4. You can' t make U- Turns, making you lose time (and money if you tuned your car at Park lots) , by making you go back to the Garage 5. It is slow paced in speed as well (use trainers with speed increasing, my advice) 6. Most insane rubber banding (cheap) . Low level cars just accelerate at the same pace as you, whilst you do it with NOS, and they just for funs with magic, fully blocking you. Steering seems slow, damped, shiftig you in cars. As in when there' s a chance of collision, your controls seem dumbed down (you can not win by playing by the rules- use trainers) 7. Car handling, always the same, regardles of the car- you can test it with handbrake, after a certain speed, same number of degrees turned 8. The story seems ChatGPT level of cringe 9. Menu is unintuitive. When you tune your car (the only thing that really affects the outcome of the race) , the menu for accepting or not blurs out the effect on the right side of the screen 10. You can' t filter out on the map the challengers your already beat. And it makes the map really unnecessarily crowded/ cluttered 11. Later as you progress, some challengers say you are not fit to race against them, but it doesn't tell you what exactly (car model, less tuning, specific painting, etc. ) , and the funniest part, when they want you to come with specific License Plates from specific Regions of Japan, whilst being written in Japanese (the license Plates) 12. Most wins are down to luck 13. When you go back to the garage, as it takes too long to go to junctions to make turns, and try to spawn where the Challengers are, they are far away and you drive without a purpose (you spawn from day to day thus new random locations) 14. To unlock perks, it is a usless grind, because of the luck part, not to mention you can't specifically mark the next challenges on the map, to quickly progress I started saying that it looks like a mobile game on PC. Mainly because it is made for you to lose time in the game, and it would be pay 2 win, to compensate this. Really, in all honesty, right now is half the price, kind of. My 2 cents, they should make this the normal price, and for the users, buy it when that halfed price, is again half priced. And the `Overwhelmingly positive` , makes me doubt the authenticity of the reviews

Stays close to early entries in the series. Just like the good ol days/10.
Today we only see festival games, or sim racing. But With TXR we are finally able to play something. It bring back what made the series so special. And I really hope they continue to create new games, maybe Tokyo Xtreme Racer Drift. I don`t usually recommend a game. But I had so much playing this racing game that I had to to.
No additional Save Files, Story is actually ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, these 2 reasons are suffice for a negative review
Dommage!
