You might be considering buying this because you heard the dual-text system is good for Japanese learners. That's fine. But know this: you MUST be prepared for how cringe this game is. The prose in this game is thermonuclear cringe. Whatever level of cringe you are expecting, it's at least an order of magnitude worse. It's so bad that I can only assume that this is the Japanese developers' (accurate) impression of what the average weeb is like and wrote it this way to insult you, you filthy gaijin neckbeard. You have been warned.

Bought it because it was meant to be good for learning anime language, however I couldn't read the dakuten due to the low resolution of the game (which you can't change), so I spent 5 minutes trying to figure out what hoku was in the context given when it was actually boku

It's pretty funny game, it was recommended by Game gengo for learning japanese. I've to say it's definetely not perfect for beginners, because it has a lot of casual talking, but for someone like me who knows a bit japanese, it was productive experience.

THIS GAME IS NOT STRICTLY FOR LEARNING JAPANESE! USE IT AS A SUPPLEMENT TO LEARNING! It has accessibility features to help early learners read through the story and have something quick and handy to rely on for reference. It's good and unique on that merit alone, however the resolution is TERRIBLE for text comprehension of small characters. you can make by on guesses if you've read other material, but this game should not be for very early beginners. (IE, if you can't comprehend something that's 20/100 according to JP.DB, SAVE IT FOR LATER!). In my learning i've found it a very fun experience to go through for reading, vocab and pronunciation practice (because i usually read out loud as of recently) as for the story itself, it's your typical VN plot about a guy who visits japan to romance anime girls. Music is a bit annoying, i'd recommend turning it down. it's not a masterpiece, but it's definitley unique and a great tool to assist early japanese learners. buy on sale if interested.

i sincerely thank funny youtuber scott the woz for playing this game at 2x speed for his anime games video to then me buying the game on switch AND steam and beating it. its a little all over the place but honestly, i had alot of fun playing. sakura best girl

It's nothing special, but a good nothing special.

Moron protagonist, doing moronic things and having moronic things done to him in order to move plot forward. Unredeemably bad writing. Discusted I've wasted my money on this in order to immerse in Japanese. There are much better games and VNs out there, seriously DON'T DO IT!

I bought this game thinking it was a Japanese learning game, if you are thinking the same then you'd be wrong. it's more or less just endless dialog between you and 3 school girls with undertones of sexual tension it's subtle but a tad uncomfortable given that they seem to be very young. The only connection to learning this game may have is that it is translated in multiple ways. English, Japanese, Romaji.....are all subtitle and secondary subtitle options however in the game itself there is no actual learning at all. So I'm somewhat confused as to what this game is even meant to be? light subtle porn for lonely perverts? i don't know. I am choosing to keep the game because if i can understand the dialog one day without the english subtitles ill know I've reached my goal in learning Japanese. but this game will not explain anything to you.....no grammar explanations or anything....just subtitles..... thankfully i didn't spend much on this game....i bought this game and another Japanese game for 14 dollars so i can't be too mad....

Приятная и милая ВН, можно сказать классика жанра. Очень порадовало, что персонажи озвучены! Повествование простое и размеренное, текст на английском языке воспринимается довольно легко. С незнакомыми словами - переводчик в помощь. Сюжет как бы максимально знакомый, много клишированных моментов, но хуже от этого не становится, заскучать не пришлось ни на секунду. Под конец одного из рутов таки вывели на сильные эмоции. [spoiler] Сюжетная ветка с Сакурой очень трогательная и чувственная. Было очень интересно следить за развитием чувств между персонажами. На моменте когда гг уезжает от Сакуры так и не признавшись в чувствах перед ее операцией я напрягся. А когда Сакура перестала выходить на связь после операции и начались титры я просто выпал и словил волну грусти. Неужели всё закончится так?! А потом игра продолжилась Такого байта я не ожидал, честно. Рад, что в итоге всё закончилось хорошо [/spoiler]
