Personalmente me encantó.
Fun towerdefence with some great twists. Still holds up well in 2026. Very cheap for what you get.
I've beaten this game on expert difficulty a number of times. Keep coming back to it. Real time puzzle with space ships and pirates. Great game. Recomend. Prefer over sequel.
Space Run, developed by Passtech Games and published by Focus Entertainment, is a clever hybrid of tower defense and real-time strategy that reimagines what defending a route can look like. Rather than placing static towers along a fixed path, the game places you in command of a modular cargo spaceship that must survive increasingly dangerous interstellar delivery routes. The premise is simple but inventive: you are a space courier transporting valuable cargo through hostile sectors, and your only means of survival is to build and upgrade your ship’s defensive systems while the mission is already underway. What sets Space Run apart is the way it transforms the traditional tower defense formula. Instead of enemies marching toward a base, your entire ship functions as both the battlefield and the defensive grid. The vessel is constructed on a hexagonal layout where you install turrets, shields, engines, cargo containers, and support modules. As the ship moves forward automatically, waves of asteroids, pirate fighters, and environmental hazards attack from multiple angles. The key challenge lies in reacting quickly, expanding or modifying your ship mid-flight, and allocating limited resources effectively. Every placement decision carries weight, as a poorly defended section can lead to catastrophic cargo loss. The pacing of the game creates constant tension. Missions reward faster delivery times, encouraging players to invest in engine upgrades to reduce travel duration. However, sacrificing defensive strength for speed increases vulnerability to enemy attacks. This push-and-pull dynamic between efficiency and survivability adds a strategic layer that goes beyond simple turret placement. As you progress, new modules unlock, introducing additional tactical options such as missile systems for burst damage, shield generators for area protection, and repair tools for damage mitigation. Learning how these systems synergize becomes essential for achieving higher mission ratings and unlocking tougher contracts. Progression is structured around completing contracts and earning reputation points. Higher performance yields better rewards, allowing you to expand your arsenal and tackle more demanding routes. While the missions are carefully designed with escalating difficulty, they sometimes rely on predetermined enemy patterns. This can shift the experience from reactive strategy to memorization during repeated attempts at perfect scores. However, this also gives the game a puzzle-like quality, where optimizing ship layout and timing becomes a satisfying exercise in refinement. Visually, Space Run adopts a bright and stylized sci-fi aesthetic. Ships, enemies, and environments are rendered with clarity, ensuring that even chaotic battles remain readable. Explosions and laser fire add energy to encounters without overwhelming the interface. The sound design complements the action with crisp weapon effects and ambient space audio, reinforcing the sense of urgency during intense waves. While the narrative framework is lighthearted and minimal, it provides enough context to frame the missions without distracting from gameplay. One of the strengths of Space Run is its balance between accessibility and depth. The core concept is easy to grasp, making it approachable for players unfamiliar with strategy games. Yet mastering its systems requires experimentation, foresight, and adaptability. Replaying missions to improve ratings or try alternative builds adds replay value, particularly for players who enjoy fine-tuning their strategies. Ultimately, Space Run succeeds because of its creative reinterpretation of tower defense mechanics. By turning the defensive grid into a moving spaceship under constant threat, it injects urgency and dynamism into a familiar genre. While some repetition and reliance on fixed enemy patterns may limit long-term variety, the core gameplay loop remains engaging and inventive. For players seeking a strategy game that combines quick decision-making with thoughtful ship design, Space Run offers a fresh and satisfying experience that stands out within the indie strategy landscape. Rating: 8/10

Really great game! The gameplay is really dynamic and rewarding, the characters are all memorable even if they don't have a lot of lines, the longevity is good compared to the price (10+ hours). Overall a great experience
