this game is absolutely abysmal to try and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ play. the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game was trying to make me play controller on keyboard, also damn near gave me an aneurism trying to close it.

4/10 - Anomaly of a game. For the story, I finally started getting interested at the end of Chapter 3, but then the game ends. Why is it so short I was expecting at least 2 more chapters. The final dragon fight was climactic but it was more of the game's overarching problem: this combat is rough, especially early game. It was so hard to get a grasp of what I was doing wrong and learning from it, feeling like I had finally figured it out near the end of the game, but then it ended. Why was it so short. The atmosphere was alright. Visually it really does need some work, its like there's a high contrast filter over everything which clashes with this world. This is a depressing, bleak world and the colors are so bright and the shadows are so dark. The music really didn't sell me either, not one track stuck out unlike numerous tracks in the first game, but I was sure there was gonna be some bangers coming later on but again, why was it so short. This is by far the black sheep of the trilogy. Conflicting ideas, complicated story, no sign of a complete and thorough vision on the style. Only in the games final moments, from the Summit of Mages and Monarchs all the way to the entire catalogue of questions for Letho in the Epilogue, did I feel like I was finally truly understanding what is going on in the world, ready to keep going further, but then it ended. All I'll say is, Witcher 3 had better be good.

Played it after playing Witcher 3. Curses are real bruh... Story is very immersive. Spared Letho tho so that I could meet him in Witcher 3.
