The Trials 2

the game is really good and enjoyable an improvement from the first game, and the soundtracks are soothing, puzzles are not that hardcore so if you expect super hard puzzles it's not. Overall great game for the price.

If you liked the first game, you'll like this one as well

Was pleasantly surprised by this. For the price I would say it's worth it.

It's a good little puzzle game made by a solo dev. I will be forgiving for some problems because of this, for exemple, the lack of a reset puzzle button (if you are stuck, you must save and quit the game then launch it again to continue), or some puzzles who were really not intuitive, forcing me I admit, to look the solutions. But overall, it's a good experience with good ideas, properly executed, and with some nice musics in the background. I recommend to buy this game full price (~5€ for 5 hours to 100%), to reward the work accomplished, and because it was nice to play it.

I played the first Trials game and it was a surprise hit for me. I'm very glad I found that game. So when I heard there was a Trials 2 game coming I hoped it would be at least as good as the first one. I was not disappointed to say the least. I started playing the game and shorty after I could not stop playing. I played for 7 hours on the first day. I was greatly entertained solving all the puzzles on the island. It was major fun. A large percentage of the puzzles are solved quickly but others take time and effort to solve. There were definitely plenty of a-ha moments when I finally solved some of the puzzles. The best a-ha moments were for the puzzles for which you need to use the acquired abilities like switch, freeze, teleport and record. Many of those puzzles are really clever. The island of the Trials 2 is more beautiful than in the first game. There are more interesting locations and a more diverse fantasy-like environment. The developer made good use of the Unreal engine. What I don't understand is how the island can be so large. The map is really huge and is stuffed with puzzles everywhere. This is a game made by one developer and I would think that it would take at least 20 years for one man to create such a huge game. But he has proven such a thing is possible in much less time. I highly recommend this game to anyone interested in puzzles. For the price that is asked you can not go wrong.

Приємна інді головоломка у відкритому світі. Мені подобається як тут продуманий левел дизайн, як розгадки поєднюються з атмосферою та рівнем. Бувають на жаль місця, де проходиться по пустоті або під час розгадки треба бігати туди сюди. Також рекомендую карту проходити на постійно включеному спринті. На геймпаді цей режим toggle, тож я раз включив і не виключав. Це пришвидшує в рази, бо територія все таки велика. На рівень соло розробки просто шикарно, хоча місцями карта пустувата, але от секретні місця там прям гарно деталізовано. Коли я побачив всю карту то аж здивувався яка вона велика і скільки це годин часу займе проходити. Але загалом по часу добре, просто є багато просторих рівнів, а є деякі красиво оформлені місця. Щодо головоломок, то вони не є ультра важкі, але інколи дають задуматися. Найцікавіші головоломки це ті що по сюжету або в секретках. Інші які як фарм в більшості хороші, але не є такими складними, хоча водночас прикольні. Кожен раз щось новеньке, використовуючи старі патерни, але гарно їх комбінуючи. Єдине от шкода, що коли отримати новий скіл, то він використовується одразу щоб навчитися, але в подальших головоломках чи сайдквестах їх використання не має. Навіть по сюжету далі комбінацій також не має. Комбінування всіх скілів вже починається практично в самому кінці. Крім того приємна спокійна музика на фоні, яка не відволікає та трішки краще занурює в атмосферу. Все таки це краще ніж чиста глухота. На жаль, з певним часом є відчуття, що затягнуто, бо починається більше схожих дій, без сильних змін в геймплеї. Бо як згадував, що комбінації з минулими скілами практично не має до останнього моменту. Але водночас і не можна сказати гру прям дуже довгою, вона закінчується у потрібний момент у потрібний час :) Є один прям жирний мінус: не підтримується steam cloud. Зупинитися та продовжити потім, видалити продовжити чи пограти на Steam Deck та ПК не вийде. З коробки цього не має. Виходить як швиденько пройшов та й забув на вічно :( Загалом рекомендую дану гру, бо основну річ, а саме головоломки та левел дизайн вона справляється добре. Це були приємні вечори прокачати трішки мислення та увагу.

Very enjoyable puzzle game with a much improved user interface and better graphics as compared to the first Trials game, with a nice mix of puzzle difficulties and a relaxing musical background. Going back to replay the original made me realize how frustratingly clunky the interface was on the original. Kudos to the developers for a great job on this one.

Bei der Suche nach einer Alternative zu dem großartigen "The Witness" bin ich auf dieses Kleinod gestoßen und muss ehrlich sagen, dass es zwar bei Weitem kein gleichwertiges Spiel ist, aber immernoch ein großartiges Rätsel-Spiel im Stil von genanntem Vertreter. Dazu kommen ein paar kleine Sprung und Erkundungselemente und voila steht dieses äußerst erfrischende Spiel sogar auf eigenen Beinen und bietet dem Liebhaber von Jonathan Blows Meisterwerk ein frisches, neues Puzzle-Erlebnis mit tollen Aha-Momenten und einigen hartnäckigen Kopfnüssen. Damit kann ich dieses Spiel wirklich jedem der sich hier angesprochen fühlt nur wärmstens ans Herz legen, denn dieses Genre ist aktuell leider wirklich dünn gesät und jedes vernünftige Spiel in dieser Sparte verdient Unterstützung.

Très bon jeu. Casses tête variés, beau décors , bonne durée de jeu, un peu du style thalos principle. Pas d'action mais de la réflexion pour avancer. Je recommande à ceux qui aiment ce genre de jeux.

Fab game, similar to The Talos Principle without the story. The kind you could play in short bursts, one puzzle at a time, but inevitably end up playing for ages when you get hooked and want to play just one more. Nice environments to walk about. I played The Trials 1 a couple of years ago and moved on when i got stuck and something else came out but found out about the Trials 2 by accident and got hooked pretty quickly. Some puzzles are quite simple but some I got stuck on and had to seek a hint. Now back to complete the Trials 1.
