The Trials 2

[h2]Hidden puzzle gem series[/h2] The first Trials had its slight problems, which are fixed in the second one and turned into one of the best hidden gem puzzle games I've played. Graphics have turned up to the next level as the island is even more pretty and beautiful to wander through. The new map with teleporting options and gemstone markers for the more hidden ones is a really nice addition for quick and easy information. I really enjoyed the more linear progression through the island with the use of the new tangam pieces you have to collect and put together to open the next big section. Of course there are some new puzzle mechanics, but also returning ones from the previous entry. Eventhough not as difficult as the first one, I feel like the second one strikes a better balance between teaching mechanics, exploring the island, collecting gemstones and putting the different mechanics to the limit. It never felt too hard or impossible, but there are still some very clever designs with logical solutions that feel satisfying to solve. Overall for less than a meal at a restaurant, getting and playing both Trials was an absolute blast and is very enjoyable for every first person puzzle fan, or just logic puzzle fan in general. Highly highly recommended, would definitely buy the third one

It's great. Really pretty visuals. Easy-Medium range puzzles. Really great second screen/podcast game.

A lot of puzzles packed into one big, beautiful open world. The difficulty is a bit low, but because of the big variety of kinds of puzzles and mechanics I had a lot of fun playing. For that price it's a steal.

Recommended for hardcore puzzle game fans.

It's nice cliche game, but it got no cloud saves which pretty much ruined my mood of resuming it.. LE: I see. I am actually opened to changing my review btw, if only I found a save up until the point you get the Record skill. I tried searching for it on Google, but to no avail. LE2: The developer was kind enough to provide me a save from where I left off, and I proceeded to play through the entire game. He is the sole developer oft he game, and I think he did a great job. Some puzzles could be kinda challenging, but nothing that can't be done though. The game is really appealing, visually. You can notice the effort that's been invested in there. Also enjoyed the coziness of sunsets, with some jazz lofi hip-hop I had in the background, to the fullest. Really chill way to play the game, I highly recommend it. Cheers, I might play The Trials 1 at some point as well.
