Damn fine puzzle game! Lots of philosophy and hard puzzles. Subjects regarding one's existence and soul searching hidden within terminals around the game. It's so amazing!
Masterpiece. if you love Serene and beautiful Environments, Peaceful Music, Puzzles that give your brain some good exercise, and/or you love philosophy, then this is one of the best things to invest your time in. I highly recommend playing atleast once.
Clearly it was influenced by Portal - in post-human world you are forced by machine to solve environmental puzzles while having set of very simple tools at your disposal. Puzzle difficulty is well balanced and give satisfaction when figured out. Took me 25h for 100% completion. Although few stars require tedious searching which brings nothing to the table in terms of difficulty. Story is mediocre, with exceptionally boring monologues about faith. Presented in equally boring form of reading endless files on terminals scattered across whole map. Luckily they are not mandatory to analyze to solve puzzles. If you like Portal give it a try.
Finished the game on another account; Posting review in case it helps anyone Puzzle Difficulty : 6/10 (Most people breeze through A & B but increasingly difficult by the time you reach tower C, final tower might give you a good kick if you're a puzzle solving junkie) Storyline: 0/10; Non-existent. Its a philosophy debate with a sophomore philosophy student at best. I get the point of Milton being an active "antagonist" to the plot but other than trapping you in your own answers and just generally being annoying, it offers nothing of value. Music: 10/10; This game has one of the most calming music pieces I have heard in a video game. Ambiance: 8/10; Pretty relaxing and visually pleasing. Final thoughts: Strong Buy if you enjoy solving puzzles and just want to relax. Absolutely avoid if your main goals is the philosophical part of the story. Since I was craving the later when I bought this game, I'm giving it a no but overall its not a bad game.
