Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Same day: best BR #84, worst PL #86 · 2 markets collected
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 19: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This game is different from frogwares Different projects, for example the sherlock holmes detective series. Different title, same game mechanics. I am not complaining that it is some bad thing, but somethin refreshin from time to time would really help the game to prosper more. What makes it worse is the bugged transportation via the water/boat. Sometimes you just tame some piece of debris under your boat and it sllows your ship, which makes the forced travel by boat really annoyinng. In some parts of the game I had really been considering leaving the game unfinished. The quests are mostly the same, crime scene, retrocognition of the crime scene, and after finding the required clues, you just go on and continue in your story. What dissappointed me was the lack of diversity in the map, the buildings are often the same proportions and room placement is identical. So this is one thing I would advise Frogware to work on. The puzzles in this game were super easy and not really challenging, as it was in old sherlock holmes games, so this could also improve. What is worse, is that you dont really have much freedom in the story, you cant choose different approach to some quests or an option to do it chronologically differently. What I like about this game was the main character, Charles Reed, his background was rich and interesting, the prologue which doubled as a tutorial was also fine way to introduce it all to the player. I like d the different beasts you had to face, really love the style with which they were made. Creepy and uncanny. I also loved the vast options of conclusions you can make to také different story paths and also the newspapers informing you about your closed cases (punishment of the criminal or conclusion to the crime). To conclude, I dont recommend buying this game at a full price, but it is well worth your time with some sale. Gameplay: 4/5 -> sometimes buggy, with weird movements of the character. Environment: 3/5 -> The place in which the game takes part is great, but the map and building design is in my opinion tragic. Characters: 5/5 -> Great characters, liked the looks of fish people, throgmortons and KKK personel, along with cultists and gangsters. Replayability: 2/5 -> Can kinda imagine myself playing this game after some while, but not in a forseeable future. Final score: 14/20 = 3,5/5 – can recommend.
Meh. The game has some interesting ideas, but they're not executed very well. The gameplay consists of three parts:

Exploration. exploring the city looks fun until you realise it's completely pointless. There's nothing interesting to find outside of your cases. There's no reward for exploring any non-mission locations because all you can find is ammo and resources, which you find in plenty during the main missions anyway.
The investigations. This is quite fun, but gets very repetitive. You just do the same activities in every case from start to finish.
The combat. The worst part of the game. It's chaotic, janky and not fun. Monsters often get stuck in the level geometry.
The Lovecraftian atmosphere is present, but the story is not conveyed particularly well and feels rather shallow. Overall, the game is decent enough, but not particularly good. Call of Cthulhu is significantly better in every aspect.
I change my mind, I do9nt recommand this game. it has the worst combat mechanic I ever encounted in my 30+ years of gaming... its ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ retarded... 1. The game looks fantastic, the story is good and the Detective part is really good. 2. However a big minus is the combat secuences, Im playing on the easiest possible and the Creatures have way to much health and make way to much damage... The pistols are useless and its easir to just beat them to death with the melee attack insted of trying to shoot them. The combat is horrendusly bad. 3. Another BIG minus is the insanity effect that you have to deal with, while your in this really bad combat. The really bad combat system and this insanity vision ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is really killing the game experience. If Im gonna finish this crap I might resolve to DL a trainer or something. The story is good, the game looks fantastic, the game mechanics suck...
Yes, if you like Lovecraftian horror and investigations. Otherwise no.
Very fun detective story with a decent story line and easy gameplay. Biggest challenge is figuring out the casebook and menu system to work cases - can be overwhelming at first, but once not bad after using it for a while. I do like that the game forces you to explore and think about choices and steps along the way.
